Small jobs welcome

"Lee quoted a great price over the phone and then promptly showed up the next day. He fixed our carpet (restretching) and even noticed another area that needed to be done. He cleaned up thoroughly after finishing the job. Would definitely call him again and highly recommend him for any carpeting issues."

"Giovanni came first to provide a quote and then Leli and Elio immediately followed and did the work. All were friendly, professional and did excellent work. My carpet hadn't been cleaned for years but I am not ready to replace them with hard wood floors so I decided to breathe new life into them for a bit longer. The carpet looks almost new. The same is true for my furniture. I had pet stains everywhere; although they didn't all come up (it was not promised that it would), everything looks nice and clean. I would recommend this company highly."

"All natural carpet cleaning is simply the best. They are professional, kind, helpful, and go above and beyond. They have expertise is getting out any stain you can imagine a toddler can get on expensive furniture and have saved the day many times. My kids love when they come too because the owner is so kind and lets them “help!” I cannot recommend them more! They also sanitize, which is great to get rid of the endless school germs."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Installing carpet tile takes a pro a few hours per room, while experienced DIYers may take a little longer. However, that does not factor in the time needed to remove the old carpet. Also, if there are issues with the subfloor, fixing it will add to the overall time it takes to complete the installation.

Costs depend on carpet type, labor rates, and additional services like padding or transitions.

If you’re using a carpet runner instead of a traditional carpet, pay attention to your width measurements. Instead of measuring the total width of your staircase with 2 added inches for foldover, simply measure the width you’d like the runner to cover. Runners generally come in standard sizes, so you may need to approximate what would look best in your space.

Many DIYers and pros start installing flooring in the middle of a room to ensure a balanced, symmetrical layout, especially when using tiles or planks. This process is particularly helpful in odd-shaped rooms because it allows you to create a centerline from which to work. Beginning in the center will enable you to work toward the edges so the final layout feels intentional and centered, even if the walls aren’t perfectly square.

In most cases, carpeting isn’t kind to the wood that it’s attached to. Most carpet installation uses adhesive or nailing strips, both of which will damage wood. Conversely, you can choose to use an adhesive designed to be removed from wood, in which case carpeting can actually protect your hardwood stairs.
