"Prior to putting a drop of paint on the wall, I did send countless pictures to the homeowners informing them that there was paint on all of the door trim hardware throughout the house. prior to starting, I also did mention that if I was able to drop any ceiling fans or globes I would do so.However, after looking at them, I did not feel comfortable and informed them that they would have to find an electrician to do so. the home was left in tragic condition from the previous owners. And we went above and beyond, in mending and fixing all of them to the very best of our ability. i also told them that I had contacts with people who owned other companies that could help them in replacing a rug in their basement, not that I would do it, and it did not state that anywhere in our contract, or that I would replace any of this carpeting. Miscommunication is the key, I communicated it, and they misunderstood it. and nowhere in the contract, did it state that I would do those things. they were on a very pressing timeline, and we worked some days, 16 hours to get the job completed to get them moved in on time. nobody from my company ever drank on any job. Not once, not ever. lastly, I was never paid for any trim in advance. the insinuation that I robbed or stole from somebody is disgraceful. after days of doing touch-ups trying to make the homeowners happy. He asked if we could do this one last thing of laying molding down under some of the heaters. again, this was outside of our contract and was expected to be done for free. i did say that if I picked the trim up and cut it at my shop. I would save the receipt like we did the whole job and they could reimburse me then. i was nothing but transparent with the homeowners. The entirety of the job, sending them daily pictures and updates on how everything was going. regrettably, we missed the deadline by a day or two. it was a very tight windows but there is nothing including the sheet rock that was installed on the basement wall was not completed. i reached out to several local business owners trying to find a match for their carpet, trying to find an electrician to come up and help. However, I was unable to find one that could match the carpet or an electrician available to take care of the work. from the very beginning, the homeowners were aware if I could not complete electric work that their father in law would take care of it, and that it would be no problem at all. as I stated earlier, the house was left in horrendous condition for them through no fault of their own or my own. but the house was unrecognizable from how I first entered it to how it was left to them after we were done with our work. our job description was painting wall repairs and cleaning, which we did. To completion."
"Prior to starting the work and prior to painting, the house would be spent approximately 45 man hOurs scraping it by hand. while doing the walk through with the homeowners prior to the work They seemed almost disconcerned with the idea of us having this scrape the majority of the house in general, however, I was able to convince them that it would probably be best to do so, which they finally agreed to. The main problem the homeowners have with the job that we did Was that we used a sprayer to paint the exterior of their home, which in 2023, is common practice in most circumstances. There is, however, some circumstances where a sprayer is not needed or necessary but for their home It was needed, and that's what we did. The price the homeowners was given was based on the house being sprayed with 2 Coats, which it was additionally, I stated that if a third coat was needed in any areas that we would do so at no additional cost which we also did. They had an expectation that we would be painting their house with a 4 inch paint brush on a home that is, 2 stories and approximately 3000 square feet for the price that we gave them.. Even though during the estimate process, we told them it was going to be sprayed. Once the job was completed, that's when they told me they were not happy after they watched us work for 5 days. At that point I had 2 of my guys spent an entire week of over 80 man-hours scraping the entire home and then our whole crew painted the entire house again. By hand for no additional cost to the homeowners. I also want to point out that the people who live across the [Member Information Removed] From these homeowners, we're so impressed with the work and effort that we put forth on their neighbor's house that they hired us to paint their exterior of their home the very next week. Unfortunately, you can't please Everybody and nobody's perfect. But we do our very best to make all of our customers happy. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful here, but we were very successful with making their neighbors very happy. thanks you Ed O'Brien"
"I would like to point out that I offered on at least 5 separate occasions to come up and fix the window and every time I offered or was in the area there was always a reason why we were not able to come by and do so. We also worked very hard to try to accommodate what was a very difficult scheduling process with you guys which we understood due to heath concerns for you wife. Also like I stated from the beginning I was unsure that we had anything to do with the window spring breaking. Would also like to point out that we would still come by to take care of it. Best of luck to you and your family."
"We did work for [Member Name Removed] and his wife for a period of approximately 3 months. The cleaning was done on a bi weekly basis. After speaking to [Member Name Removed] he informed me that his wife and himself realized that this item had been missing They allowed not only myself but Mary back in their home approximately 4 more times. All of this also happened well over a year ago at which point when 1st brought to my attention I urged him to contact the police and make a formal report. That not only myself but Mary had absolutely nothing to Hide. It also seemed very strang to me that if they believed something of that nature happened that they would allow us back not once but multiple times. Also my reputation is worth more than anybody's necklace. Also in conclusion my business has been running for well over 7 years and have never Been accused of anything like this. We are a family run business Who prides ourself on our very good reputation and we would not jeopardize that for anyone or anything."
"Hi [Member Name Removed]I Returned a phone call to you on Saturday the same day that I came to see the job. I Then never received a phone call back From you in regards to your job. Once I left a message for you I expected that you would call me back and when you never did I figured you found another company to do your work."
"Like I tried to explain unfortunate things happen. And unfortunately not everybody is able to understand that. Although we do understand their disappointment With us being unable to clean their home That the overall quality of my company Would not be called into question. Again we apologize But would also like to point out that we have several regulars were also affected by these accidents and none of them Have echoed The same feelings. We wish [Member Name Removed] the best of luck with future companies."
