"I needed to engage Brian (a true PRO) to remediate an improperly performed job by "The Roofing Guys" - Brian took the time to understand the problems and remove and reinstall 12 skylights along with fixing improperly nailed shingles, defective flashing and cut shingles to eliminate the numerous leaks we were experiencing. Brian and his team were polite and sympathetic to our needs. They took on a job multiple other roofers refused to tackle. Once done, the job was reasonably priced. They also resolved a long standing issue with our Pole Barn metal roof. I would hire them at any time for any reason."

"I have had multiple subcontractors while building our house. Bobby was the best! His work is fabulous. He communicated before, during and after the project - along with pictures! He meant what he said and said what he meant! A rarity these days! I would hire him again in a heartbeat!"

"Did our roof about 2 years ago and was super pleased with the professionalism of everyone from the office staff to the work crews and the efficiency and quality of work. Hired again to replace windows, and once again impressed with the work but also the people. If I need another job done that they specialize in, will hire again."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

If the temperature outside is around 90 or 100 degrees with the sun beating on your home’s roof, it’s common for the attic temperature to reach 150 degrees or more. This excessive heat shows the importance of having a radiant barrier in place along with insulation. The radiant barrier reflects the heat entering the attic back upward, keeping your home’s temperature more consistent.

The level of insulation is determined by both the material and the thickness of the door. Some garage door materials (such as wood) have natural insulating capabilities, while other materials (such as metal) do not. No matter the material, two-layer and three-layer garage doors have a higher R-value than single-layer garage doors, as insulation is fitted between the panels.

Yes, you can use too much bubble wrap. If you overdo it with the wrapping, it can strain the top of your box and break open the taped seal, risking the chance that the contents of the box could fall out or break. Use enough wrapping to fully cover your item without compromising the security of your box.

Yes, many professionals offer insulation options, such as insulated siding (including insulated metal siding), to improve your home's energy efficiency.
