I cannot say enough good about this company! They were fast, efficient, honest, and amazing from start to finish. Herb came right out the same day I called, to check our central AC unit that was needing to be replaced. He was great! Within a week or so we had our new AC unit installed by Tyler and Trent, they absolutely GREAT! Tyler was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us. He explained everything to myself and then again to my husband who works nights, who wasn't there in the beginning of the install. He took his time and him and Trent were just great! Susan, in the office was very nice and helpful through the whole process, as well. We will definitely be using Breath Easy of CNY for all of our future HVAC services. Hands down, they are the best!

Dan,Sam and Ryan were the technicians that came to my home to make repairs to the duct work in my basement. They arrived on time, were very friendly and professional. The job wasn’t easy. They spent several hours installing dampers, removing duct work that was improperly installed and removing all of the old materials. They were meticulous when cleaning the job site. I would recommend this company to anyone having heating issues! Thanks again to Herb Smith, the owner and the technicians.

Kacey and Ryan did a fantastic job. The routing of the air ducts in the attic was great and left me a lot of room for storage. Everything was explained on the operation of the unit. They cleaned everything up every day they worked and it looks and works great!

I was exceptionally happt with the worked preformed on my ducts by Donald Shaver. He told me everything that had to be done before he preformed the work. During the preformance of the work he was very proffessional and made sure that we knew what to expect after the work was done. I would highly recomend this company again. They have the three things that I look for when dealing with a company helpful, honest and professional. They have all three qualities.

My service man was Jason C. He was prompt and polite the entire time. He always had his mask on, he reviewed with me everything he did and explained why it needed to be done. He was even friendly with my dog who does not like people.

Service was great! Jason C. did an awesome job! This was our first time using this company and will most definitely be using them again!! Price was very reasonable.

One of the reason we bring them out every year is to have things check. They do a good job.

We have them come out every year. They're super professional, helpful, they go through, I never feel like I'm getting ripped off, so yeah, they're just very good. They seem to do a really good job of assessing our air conditioning and heating system, going through it all and making sure everything is working properly. They do leave the area clean after their work is completed. For this service it is just one worker that I come in contact with.

Ok, tried to sell me a new furnace.

Technician came 30 minutes before quoted time and took just about an hour to get my heating oil boiler running properly. He even suggested a few items that needed to be changed due to the age of my boiler. Well worth the money for the services and information he provided.

Everything went fine. Easy to work with, on time,  and had knowledgeable technicians. I felt they were very honest.

Breathe Easy of CNY was recommended to me by a trusted friend.  I spoke directly with the owner on the phone to book the appointment. He was very courteous. My husband met the service rep at our home. The rep was friendly and professional. We plan to use this firm for future heating needs.

Breathe Easy is a great company to deal with the entire process was great. It's a small company so you work directly with the owner Herb Smith.



Upgraded my aging Furnace A/C and Water Heater to new Energy Efficient equipment. also new programmable thermostat, Had Duct Cleaning done at same time 



Original quote was a '2 to 3' day job.  Arrived first day did the duct cleaning and water heater, also did some prep for the furnace a/c work scheduled for day two, it was the hottest week of the summer so Herb didn't want to leave me without A/C working that night, I really appreciated that.



Day two brought a new guy in so had Herb and his three techs. I kind of followed the guys around, not that I had to but was just curious about the new equipment and install. All three techs followed Herb's example they were hard working and efficient, always in action doing something, they never stood still except for lunch break.

They finished the job on day two, answered all my questions about operation, and cleaned up nice.



The only glitch, they forgot to cap off the old chimney. It was in a corner and behind the furnace, so after new unit was in was easily overlooked. But when I noticed it next morning, while checking out the work, I called Herb and he had Jason come same day to seal the old chimney. If I have any complaint it would be this, Jason sealed the chimney but didn't use a cap he put some insulation that I provided inside and used furnace cement to seal it in. I questioned what would hold the cement in Jason told me the cement would seal/stick to sides and harden. Well I checked next morning it had sealed to sides but the middle fell out cement was on floor. So I called Herb he had Jason come back later in day with a cap, tapped it in used cement then put tape around it for a permanent seal.



At first I was a bit annoyed had to wait on the fourth day for them to come back and fix the chimney seal, but in light of overall experience I don't consider it a detraction because of the prompt resolution.

Herb and his techs are professional and courteous. Small company so you deal directly with the owner Herb who is polite, knowledgeable, and makes sure that your needs are met.

They were easy to schedule and prompt on the day of scheduled service.  The man they sent was friendly & efficient (and patient with my 3-year old following him around and talking non-stop).  I had a few questions and he suggested some possible solutions, some that required additional work by the company and other things that we could do  on our own.  This is the 2nd time I've used this company and will continue to do so in the future.

Herb and his employees did a wonderful job and were terrific to work with.  Very professional, knowledgeable, polite and respectful of our property.  I would hire them again if the need arose.  They were a pleasure to have working in our home.

We purchased a house that needed a new furnace and water heater AND central air unit.  I called for an estimate and it was set up for a week later.  They were able to get us scheduled at the end of December before the tax credit ran out.  They were very accommodating given this tight time line.  They were able to do everything the estimated for us and were very helpful with the many questions my wife and I had.  They helped us also get our rebates from NYSEG also.  We had two issues...One with the furnace and one with the water heater.  When they occurred, I called Herb and he was out there within an hour and took care of the problems very quickly! They then returned in the spring and installed a central air unit.  The guys that came out were very professional and extremely helpful with any questions we had.
