"We used Anton and his team for remodeling our basement and garage after we had water damage. They put up replacement pieces of sheetrock which looked amazing. Absolutely no lines just perfectly level walls. Their workmanship was outstanding. The owner was on site a lot of the time and his team worked very neatly. The painting was simply outstanding. The room looks like brand new. Pricing was extremely fair especially for such quality, high end work. Anton and European Craftsman will be our only call the next time we need work done. "Overall about the best contractor experience we've had from start to finish. The job took about 2.5 weeks. It began with the company's owner talking with us regarding contract and timing. The contract itself was a clear indication of throughness and detail. Every workday began with a chat of what was to be done and ended the day with a thorough clean up. On average there were three employees, all incredibly professional, very accommodating, great senses of humor and personable. For example, when they painted the entire interior, we asked if they could leave one bedroom and bathroom for last while they painted the rest of the house. On a few occasions, we asked for a paint color change. The contract didn't call for swapping out a few light fixtures but they did so without hesitation. Every request was fulfilled. They work was amazing. The house had some damaged Sheetrock and popping nail heads. Most of it had not been painted since the original paint job almost 30 years ago. The 20' ceilings presented real challenges but all was done so that the finished job makes the house look brand new. The carpentry, electrical work and door installation all are perfect. Most importantly, the professional workers clearly enjoy their work, enjoy working together and made this job for us, more like a social event with friends coming to visit daily. The owner of the company Dave Nessel is a serious (but with a sense of humor) knowledgeable businessman and a pleasure to work with. I would hire Unique again without hesitation for another job. They do quality, professional and spotlessly clean work."

"Tim had initially come over for the installation of a French drain on the side of the house, but instead uncovered that our foundation had receded away from the house due to past water damage. He immediately stepped into gear explaining every detail to me and gave me a quote for the amount of work that needed to be done. He and his crew made time in his busy schedule to get the job done and finished it completely in 3 days. I am so grateful for the work they have done and how quickly they did it. I highly recommend this business for anyone experiencing foundation/water damage issues. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

"We hired Casey on the strength of work he has done locally in our community. Casey is doing a variety of indoor and outdoor work for me, including some critical work on the foundations of my house and some remodeling the interior of my house. Casey quickly provided transparent and fair pricing for a large number of projects, and adhered closely to his indicative timelines for work. He was flexible about working round our need to use the house at various points. The foundation work was completed quickly and effectively, preventing the collapse of the floor in one room. The remodeling work that he did in our bedroom almost doubled the size of it and was finished to a very high standard. Casey has an eye for detail and a talent for solutioning - his pricing is excellent value. Casey has been a pleasure to deal with from the start: prompt, courteous, fair pricing, completes work quickly and clearly has a commitment to doing all work to a high standard. Cannot recommend him enough!"

"I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.  

Prior review:
Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly.
Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."
