"Tim and Jake replaced an old support beam and structural wall in our basement with new footings, posts, and steel beams through the length of the house. They handled the project from beginning to end with excellent communication and service. Before they could begin work, the engineer had to draw up plans and Diggs had to get permits approved. Tim worked in lockstep with the engineer and me - he stayed in touch so that I always knew where we were in the process. The work itself took them less than a week, and they left my house standing stronger than ever. If you have a structural issue in your home, these are 1000% the guys to call. Thank you, Tim and Jake!"

"We hired Casey on the strength of work he has done locally in our community. Casey is doing a variety of indoor and outdoor work for me, including some critical work on the foundations of my house and some remodeling the interior of my house. Casey quickly provided transparent and fair pricing for a large number of projects, and adhered closely to his indicative timelines for work. He was flexible about working round our need to use the house at various points. The foundation work was completed quickly and effectively, preventing the collapse of the floor in one room. The remodeling work that he did in our bedroom almost doubled the size of it and was finished to a very high standard. Casey has an eye for detail and a talent for solutioning - his pricing is excellent value. Casey has been a pleasure to deal with from the start: prompt, courteous, fair pricing, completes work quickly and clearly has a commitment to doing all work to a high standard. Cannot recommend him enough!"

"I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.  

Prior review:
Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly.
Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. "I needed stucco repair work on an old chimney (and other spots). Grady was meticulous and thoughtful on what approaches and materials would work. Throughout the project they allocated sufficient time for each treatment to cure and inspected the work before proceeding to the next step. Grady started the project with no money down and only required ongoing payments for materials until the project was well underway. The final payment was due only after they did a final inspection. Total project cost was also below other bids."
