He was on time which is really good if you are on a time crunch or have a busy schedule. He was incredibly thorough and documented everything as he went along on a laptop. He did turn on all the appliances, checked all the receptacles in the house didn't leave a single one, also crawled into the craw space. Our crawl space has a very tiny entry one has to squeze oneself due to the fact that our house is a cape cod style. He did point us certain things that needs to be fixed mainly cosmetics. He has a very good ethics and he did not refer to a contractor.This produced an instant report for us to use. He did email us the hard copy of the report in mail along with report on radon & pest infestation report. We bought the house. I gave him a B for price

As the other reviewers said, he is not always the most responsive person; it did take two calls to get a response from him this past summer. He did call back and apologize after I called the second time, so I still gave him an and quot;Aand quot; above. I know his services are in high demand, and I do believe that he would come right away if we had a pest control emergency. He also apparently sends out bills only every six months or so, so do not be surprised at that. That being said, he has really helped us several times and always knows the right local resources to leverage to take cake of whatever pest problem you may have. For us, our relocated baby squirrels went to a specialized rescue, and, when we could not figure out what was biting us, Pat took a sample bug to Cornell entomology to have it identified. What else could we ask for, really? Pat is great and we won't hesitate to call him again (but hope we won't have to...

"This is the second time I used Harry Harvey as the structural inspector for a new house purchase. The first time, Harry saved me approximately $30,000 in major and minor repairs.
