Not only did All Dry Basement honor their written estimate, they went beyond several times on other things not covered, but related. This was all done in Covid times. "Just too expensive for what you get. Feels like a big company nickel and dime move. I get having a trip charge. Which was $109. But then to have the tech who was great btw (not his fault), but was tentative about fixing the problem because of creating more damage. Another $160 for a simple diagnostic charge, again without fixing the problem. I already knew the diagnosis. So he basically did a Band-Aid fix (greased the Knob) and still charged me over $280+ for what equated to be 10 minutes of work. It was ridiculously high for the service provided. Next time I?m going to an independent, local guy."

"Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."
