"This is my second review of work performed by Rock 'n Gardens. Our first project—a large walkway/patio/entry installation--was so successful that we contracted for a short matching walkway to the front door with the leftover stone. The design challenge in this second project was to artfully tie the new work into three massive existing stone slabs so that the walkway would complement the scale of the existing slabs while not overwhelming the front of the house. Once again, we are delighted with the finished job. As with our first experience, professionalism, communication, and timeliness throughout this project were top notch. In fact, with a cold snap predicted, the Rock 'n Gardens crew, on their own initiative, arranged to finish the installation on a Saturday before the bad weather hit. That's above and beyond in my book. When we are ready for more stonework, we will definitely be calling Rock 'n Gardens."

"“Veterans Tile”, Sergio Jr, and his crew came highly recommended by our neighbor who had her own work done by them. We had a massive project in front of us, as our existing back patio and front porch (circa 1957) was a crumbling mess of concrete. We had multiple contractors come in for estimates, and most of them told us that the scope of work was too much for them to handle, and others came in with astronomical estimates. Being fairly new to the Hudson Valley, this made us uneasy on whether we would ever get this done? When Sergio Jr accompanied with his dad came, their demeanor was with complete confidence, respectful and with a smile. Every aspect was explained to us from start to finish. The work started, and finished in exactly 9 days, as we added more projects on like an additional walkway, as well as shoring up the footings on our rear deck. The crew did phenomenal and professional restoration. We look forward to working together again. Very satisfied!"

"I contacted Antonio from Roger landscaping and concrete to get an estimate on a totally botched up sidewalk and stair job. I was in desperate need to have somebody fix the disaster that was left to me and my family, let alone my house. We originally hired a contractor back in July who made a total mess of my property and Home Advisor did nothing to help us with the mess that Joseph Arbore & Sons left here. I tried to contact many other contractors and none showed up. I waited countless days and hours on others and the responses and excuses were horrendous. Finally thank God, I found Antonio and his family. I contacted him and he showed up when he said he was going to show up giving me the estimate so we could decide if we will proceed with the work. When Antonio came to look at the disaster we decided that we would work with him as I felt he was honest and FAIR and the project commenced as we planned and as we discussed amongst ourselves. He and his sons and father in law are extremely meticulous. And it truly shows in their work. I must say that they really had their work cut out for them because fixing this mess was something that a contractor would really not want to take on. He completely redid the long front walkway and side walkway, redid the botched up stair job with bluestone, resurfaced the front foundation of the home and more. This has got to be the most reliable family run company I’ve ever dealt with and it was truly a pleasure. The job was completed in full yesterday and we can’t be happier. Truly professional at what they do. They also show up EARLY and work a full day. I did not have this experience with the other so called contractor. In fact we are so pleased, that we are going to be using Roger for our Spring project which will consist of a small patio, and much more. I simply cannot be any happier. At least now I can have people come for the holidays and not have to worry about someone being injured on the walkway. Roger landscaping is reasonable, RELIABLE and are meticulous about their work and for that I am MOST grateful. I look forward to seeing them in the spring. I highly recommend them. "We have used L and Z Masonry Corp. for a number of our masonry projects. Each time, we have always been extremely satisfied with their excellent work. Recently we had a tremendous amount of rain. Our gutter downspouts previously emptied out onto the concrete surface. With the heavy rains, this presented a problem of flooding and possible water seepage into the basement. Luis, the owner of the company, corrected the situation by digging underground trenches and installing pipes that directed the water away from our house and the surface. He did an excellent job and approached the task very creatively which involved cutting through a concrete slab and tunneling under a slate walkway in order to dig the trenches for the pipes that help to drain the gutters. In addition, we had Luis and his team repair a concrete walkway that was problematic. We are more than satisfied with the work that was done. The new set up for the drainage of our gutters is a tremendous improvement. L and Z is an excellent Masonry Company. Luis carefully laid out his repair plan to us. His team works methodically, consistently, and efficiently to get the job done in a timely manner in a way that minimizes any disruption to you the customer. Luis is very knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, polite, helpful, and always willing to please his customers. His team of workers are respectful, diligent, focused, and highly skilled. L and Z Masonry has fair prices that are also competitive. We will most definitely use them for future projects, and we highly recommend this company."
