We are able to complete land surveys in a shorter time frame and at a more competitive price because we utilize the latest in equipment/technology and are very diligent in our research practices.

"We hired scalice to do a survey of our new home. They sent workers that were new, unsupervised, and did not speak English. The workers broke huge branches off of about 9 ever green trees that were 30+ years old. The company even agreed that the new workers did not properly complete the survey and only offered a small discount on return - no one called, no one showed any compassion. We now have lost much of the privacy these trees provided. I would never use this company again."

Our most recent contract was a SpeedWay Gas Station in NY. We can provide you with pictures. You are more than welcome to visit any of our current work sites with owners approval. Z Renovation Inc. is not like the rest that have 1-3 guys doing all sorts of work which they have minimal experience in. All of our contractors are experienced in their trade and will only be doing their specific duty. Z Renovation will make sure all the work is done in accordance with NY State Law. We will file all paperwork and pull permits when necessary as well as getting the Final CO at the end of the job. We take great pride in our work, and maintain to keep our name as a reputable company. Our number once goal is Client Satisfaction. We will not leave until you are 100% satisfied.

Permit requirements to clear land vary by municipality, so whether or not you need permits depends on where you live and what you’re removing from the land. Some building departments will require permits for any underground work or excavation, meaning grinding down tree stumps on your property would require permits. Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.
