My alarm arming system would not arm ---a diagnostic test was done and found to be a problem with the land phone line. I checked my land phone-which I rarely use--and found that it had no dial tone--i called the phone company --they came out and found that there was problem a quarter mile awand away--they fixed it and my system was able to be armed normally.
