Customers say: True professional

"We had bought our house a year ago and when we opened the pool the liner was ripped and we were loosing ALOT of water everyday. My husband and I know nothing about pools. SO we muddled thru the first year knowing that we would need someone to come out this year. I called and received 5 estimates. Tri-City pools was the last estimate that came out. He was the best value for our money. Clayton the owner came and installed the liner himself, they found out where the leaks were replaced them and also helped us with our pool pump since the pool wasent closed properly. He put my ladder in and stairs and out the eyes into the jets. He did not charge me any extra for any of the extra things that he did. I offered multiple times to pay more since he did SO much more. He went over the pool pump with me and explained everything they were doing every step of the way. Our pool looks AMAZING. We couldnt be happier. Easy to work cwith easy to talk to. Will be calling them for closing and openings. THANK YOU Clayton!"

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

Errors in site preparation can lead to structural failures or appear costly midway. Professionals ensure detailed, reliable home base development layouts.

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.
