Sarim Pool Service was very responsive arrived immediately diagnosed the issue and replaced the pool pump and motor. But most importantly they advised me of the importance of Ph levels Not only salt. My last pool company said I just needed to add salt when needed. Sarim advised my liner and pump would have lasted twice as long as it did if I kept the PH in line. I will use Sarim pool service from now on.

Sarim showed up on time and did things quickly and efficiently! I will be using him from now on for opening , closing and any future repairs for our pool! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Sarim!

OK, was delayed because of Sarim's family emergency

When II called his service, his wife answered my questions and scheduled the appointment.  She presented a totally different take than her husband when he came to do the job.  I told her i wanted the pool opened  and vacuumed since there was some debris in it since the pool cover had fallen into the pool during the winter. She told me yes they would do that.  I also told her I was leaving on vacation for a couple of weeks and asked if her husband could check on the pool while I was gone.  Once again she told me yes he could do that.
When he arrived he was friendly and began opening the pool.  I have an above ground pool with a bridge ladder.  He and his helper seemed unfamiliar with it.  I had to tell them that the ladder should not be resting on the pool ledge.   They then realized they had not placed part of the ladder at the bottom of the pool and hence had to try to get it in place underwater.  A few weeks later that piece fell out because it was not placed correctly.  I asked him about checking on my pool while I was away.  He said he didn't think he could it was his 'busy' season but to call his office.  It was clear to me he had no interest in doing so and so I did not call his office.  Instead I had neighbors care for the pool while I was gone.
During that time the pool was consistently  becoming green in color.  I called Sarim from my vacation and asked his wife if he could please stop in and check it out as I was concerned.  She called me back and said he would be there on the following Tuesday?..I never heard from him again and the pool was in poor shape when I arrived home.  
I found his service totally unreliable and would never use him or recommend him to anyone.

We will never use him again.

Wonderfully! I called and spoke with Sarim's wife at 10:30 and Sarim arrived at my mom's house at noon!

It was the best experience of having our pool closed in the last 9 years that we've lived in the house.  Sarim and his assistant Jim were knowledgeable, experienced in their work, and they clearly liked what they do.  They listened to some of the problems that we have had in the past, and made suggestions of ways to resolve them.  They also fixed items like the pool cover anchors that had been ignored by other pool service contractors we have  had. 
They answered my phone calls and gave an estimate of the cost of the work.  They stood by their estimate.  In addition, they got finished with another job quicker than expected and gave me a call to let me know they could come sooner if that worked for me. They had the right equipment and went about their work quickly and efficiently.  You could clearly see that neither Sarim or his assistant were afraid of or resistant to hard work. 
Sarim left me with some suggestions for off season care of the pool and equipment which will leave the pool in better condition than has been my experience in the past with other contractors.
I intend to hire Sarim Pool Service for future openings and closings and pool service.  I would highly recommend them.

Dealing with Sarim Pools to get a new above ground pool in was a headache from the beginning. The job was delayed several times and in the end, I complained to him and his response was to pull everything up he'd already done, leave the job, and jam a note in my front door. No phone call, nothing. It took Sarim Pools two weeks to mail me sample liners. Once we selected a liner it was time for the install. Sarim told me it would take a day to install. On the day of the install, I stopped back at my home during my lunch hour and saw that it was 12PM to find the job had not been started. I called him and asked where he was and he reiterated it would only take a day to complete. I came home from work at 5PM to find two of his workers sitting in my patio furniture smoking cigarettes. This continued for an hour and a half. Sarim decided to leave my job to go on another service call. Sarim finally returned to say he would complete the job the next day. Sarim also brought the wrong type of pump and filter. I asked for a cartridge filter and he instead brought a sand filter."This is what you want" Sarim says. No, Sarim, actually it isn't. I get a phone call from Sarim on the following day saying he had no one to do the job so it would be completed the following Monday. All of the equipment sat in my backyard for 4 days. This includes the empty water bottles, trash and empty packs of cigarettes his workers left there. I called him back, telling him I was unhappy with the delays. He returned the following Monday, pulled a center drain pipe up out of the ground, took down the frame, removed all of his equipment and left a nasty note in my door "Good luck finding someone else" "Sorry we couldn't drop everything and put in your pool".   If Sarim couldn't complete the job in the time he originally said, he should have been up front about it.

I have been using Sarims pool service for 3 or more years and he has never let me down. He is a great guy. I am not new to Sarim, I am new to Angie's list.Uli Rose

At the beginning of the spring, a rather large tree fell into our in-ground pool, destroying the liner and the safety cover (18' x 32').  While we were able to limp through the majority of the swimming season with the old liner and about a thousand patches, we determined that this year was the only year where we could feasibly make a homeowners claim for the incurred damage (we documented the damage extensively).  After receiving four estimates on the job, we decided to accept Sarim's proposal based on several other word of mouth recommendations from current and former customers.  We especially liked the wide range of liners that Sarim offered, as opposed to the considerably fewer liners offered by his competitors.  While Sarim wasn't the most inexpensive of the estimates, his price was considerably cheaper than several of the "big-name" companies who also provided estimates.   He was prompt and courteous, and kept all appointments to the hour.  He offered excellent advice, threw in a couple of extras, and was able to tackle a problem with high groundwater with ease.  We also appreciated Sarim's work ethic, and it was nice to see him take  his son out on the job.  He answered all our questions, and took time out of his schedule to simply chat for a while.  Needless to say, the new liner looks great, and Sarim returned earlier this week to install a new safety cover, and went through the process of drilling new holes into the concrete decking to install new standoffs for the turnbuckles, and filled the old standoff holes nicely.  We were extremely pleased with the entire job, and will certainly utilize his services in the future should the need arise.  We would unhesitatingly recommend Sarim to anyone.

Overall, I wouldn't have anyone else touch my pool. I have learned my lesson with all the other big companies. They are too expensive & they seem to hire new summer hires who have never done anything other than swim in a pool. Sarim has been dealing with pools his entire working life & knows about any problem presented to him.
