"Arrived on time, took down 2 trees then went for #3 a snap off.....couldn't use the bucket truck but had to climb other trees to tie it up safely. They arrive am didn't get done until after 3. The snapoff was a nightmare .....but they got it down without damage to close structures.. If you need tree work......call twisted tree services! "We had a MASSIVE tree in a very tight spot. Other companies, that use lifts and other heavy equipment in order to get 'up there', had questioned their own ability to get their equipment close enough to the tree and remove it without damaging the other trees around it and/or a neighboring shed. They also needed access to neighboring properties and were uncertain they could drop the giant on the available spot. Then Alec, from Willowtree, shows up, looks up for about a minute and gets right back to me with a quote. No equipment. He climbs, secures and lowers pieces of tree, bit by bit, to his awaiting crew (also awesome guys). When there was nothing but the trunk left, he dropped it EXACTLY in the narrow available spot. And did I mention my pleads for the safety of a little plant here and a little bush there? Yeah, well: it all survived unscathed! There was never a question or a concern. He also addressed other concerning tree matters in our yard, put up a bat house for us, and more! "

"Austin Powell, the owner of Alps Tree Care, was exceptionally responsive and professional throughout the course of the project, being the removal of 10 mature, (partially to fully) diseased ash trees that we situated within striking distance of my house. Austin visited my property the morning after I called him to provide a quote. His price was at the lower end of multiple bids that I had received from a few of his local competitors. I accepted his bid because he patiently explained, with the confidence of an experienced arborist, how he was going to remove the trees without accidentally crushing my house...which was a nightmare scenario which was easily imagined if you viewed the trees that I needed removed. On the first day of the tree removal, Austin and his team, which included his fit as fiddle mother, worked with military precision to simultaneously fell seven of the trees, wood chip the branches that were not going to be cut up for firewood, while cleaning up the debris that accumulated around the house. The downed trees were then chain sawed into logs that were sized in length for firewood. The second day the rest of the trees were taken down and my property was cleaned up in spectacular fashion. On the third day Austin showed up with a team of modern day Paul Bunyans, sharpened axes in hand (and a gas-powered log splitter as backup), who proceeded to split the logs into 4-5 cords of firewood. It was an amazing feat of strength and skill...and great spectator sport. They situated the green wood into two piles, with easy access to my two woodsheds. I will move the firewood to the woodsheds after a few months of outdoor curing. All that said, I would not hesitate to recommended Alps Tree Care."
