The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

"Mark and his assistant Mike were great. Mark is very knowledgeable with just about everything home building and remodel related. He installed a new vanity and bathroom light/fan, which were a challenge. Do to the age of the home and previous DIY work, he was thrown a few curveballs, but always came up with a new game plan and completed the work without issue. He installed a heater fan in the bathroom ceiling, repaired two ceiling with water damage, installed a new storm door and repaired en exterior window frame that had multiple areas that were rotting.
