Extremely reliable, hard worker. Excellent spackle work. I previously had an incident where a plumber cut wires and had ductwork put in that was falling down. Deering Handyman repaired the ductwork. Also put new roof on my shed, some caulking work and new boots around pipes on roof. I would highly recommend him.

I needed a new door in my cabin upstate installed. As usual the size isn’t an exact match. My door frame needed to be up taller than it was which meant the original trim could not be used. After removal a large opening was found under where the saddle was. Joe trimmed it all out to fit snug, filled in and built a new saddle. He made new trim to go go around the new door and sealed it so it would match the countertops. He ensure the door locks went deeper into the frame for security also.

Deering Handiman Services have just finished painting our cabin. They did a fantastic job and even straightened up our front porch for us! We highly recommend their services. We have used their services for other repairs and have always been professional and extremely reliable.

Joe and the people working with him do an outstanding job every time and usually go above and beyond. He installed kitchen counter tops in my upstate cabin and of course nothing is straight so he added a three inch backsplash that covered the spacing. Came out beautiful and added a good grade sealer so good preparation can be done without staining and it’s easy to maintain too! Joe also made me a shelf to hold my microwave and included a cut out for the cord to feed down into the outlet. Like I said, above and beyond.

Joe and his team are fantastic! We bought an older house with a hundred and one projects to take care of, and from insulating the attic to fixing a corroded pipe and warped door in the basement, everything got done fast, professionally, and at a fair price. We'll be working with Deering for all our light contracting needs in the future.

We had some minor scheduling issues due to weather (impossible to avoid), but Joe was great about letting me know early and setting a new date. Joe arrived on time and quickly got to work - even setting up a paper runner throughout my home to not track any dirt or salt in. Once he started working, he was quickly able to find the spot of water damage, clean the area and secure new pieces of wood keep everything structurally sound - keeping me informed every step of the way and showing me what he found. Joe was fairly priced and very professional - it is evident that he takes pride in his work and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking. We even discussed a couple of other small outdoor projects we are looking to have done in the spring.

Joe did an excellent job. He spent all day doing the work. Cleaned up after himself. Disposed of the carpet. I had had a problem with him returning calls for this job but he made up for it by not charging me full price. He is honest and a blessing to us. He will go far in this business.

I hired Joe in Dec for jobs. We agreed on a contract and that he would begin 3 weeks later on Jan 16. On Jan 16 me and my girlfriend drove 3 hours to our investment house and he told us that he wasn’t interested in doing it anymore. This was the very last minute. His excuse was “he has other clients”. We were disappointed. I even delayed a surgery because of this. He is a nice guy and did deliver the materials I ordered from Home Depot for free however it is not worth the time I wasted.

I couldn't be more pleased. He really takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.

Everything was exactly right. Joe showed up on time for the estimate & work. We had a change of scope that Joe documented well. The quality of the work was great. Joe says he learned how to treat people from his Grandfather. It shows. Friendly professionalism.

.Joe installed all curtain rods and blinds brackets swiftly without delay. Joe is a hard worker and takes pride in his work. He can do carpentry, electrical, plumbing, A.C. (EPA LIC). He's honest and respectful. No doubt the best handyman I've encountered.
