I am a very picky home owner, but these guys did a good job with our torch down roof eve repair. Steve, the guy who did the carpentry to reconstruct the eves did excellent precise work, and, at my request worked entirely with pressure treated lumber or PVC composit planks. If you want top quality repairs for a fair price, you can't go wrong with this firm.

Jack came over and found that my slate roof didn't have broken tiles, just a few hairline cracks. They were so nice and were able to spend 5 minutes to fix it, and then because no tiles were actually broken it ended up being no charge. I would absolutely recommend them for any roofing needs.

We were fortunate to have found and called Barney & Sons after we had a leak in our garage roof recently during a rain storm. After I placed my call I was quickly contacted back by Jack and told him my issue. He said he would stop by later that day, check it out and give us an estimate, which he did. Two days later he was at our house for the repair, Quickly took care of our issue. For us it was a good experience as having a leaking roof is never a good thing! I CALLED THE OWNER JACK AND MADE A APPOINTMENT WITH HIM WE SET A TIME HE NEVER CALLED US BACK WE ARE VERY UPSET THE HE BECAME LIKE THIS. WE USED HIM IN THE PASS AND WAS VERY PLEASE WITH HIM AND THE WORK. I AM VERY SORRY HE TURN OUT THIS WAY.

The gentleman was very courteous and professional. He explained all my choices for the roof repair job. He was clear about the cost. He even did some extra "clean up" work on my roof and siding. I was impressed with the entire experience with this company.

First time using Home advisor. I submitted a request for repair via internet and within 5 minutes, John (Jack) called me. They were in the area and just finished up a job and wanted to come by and see what needed to be done. 30 minutes later, my "slipped" shingles were repaired and job done. Professional, fast, polite and priced 1right. They even made a recommendation for a paver as the driveway is next on the list. 1 year later, that same group of shingles has the same problem. Might be time for a more in depth look at the problem.

Jack was very honest about the condition of the roof and what had occurred and how he repaired it. Was very responsive when contacted, called me back within 15 minutes every time. Extremely fair and reasonable on repair cost.

Jack called me within about 5 minutes of entering my request for a roofing contractor. He completely explained the work to be performed, and even showed me the portion of the roof that needed repair in addition to providing a few options based on my situation. He also monitored the weather and got the roof squared away before the next big rain storm preventing more water getting into the house. I would definitely recommend Barney and Sons.

This turned out to be a very minor repair. Jack was friendly prompt and honest,. Also spotted a gutter that needed straightening, did that for no extra charge.

Have to wait for more storms but so far tiles are holding and no leaks.
