YSG SolarMy experience with YSG was nothing short of remarkable from day 1. Their customer service folks are knowledgeable and have great interpersonal skills--they make you feel exactly like the important person you are to them. They facilitated completing the initial paperwork (which no one likes) so it was an "eazy breezy" process. The only holdups I experienced throughout the process were the product of the normal delays caused by the local government oversight regarding permitting and official drawings that needed to be made. However, once the government was satisfied, the installation process was amazing. A crew of 5, who were incredibly respectful, came out and in less than 5 hours practically reconstructed the bracing on my roof and installed everything. The best part for me was being able to watch the PSEG meter going backwards!! So very cool. If you are contemplating this and haven't called YSG, my only question to you is "Why not?" Give them a shout, you won't be sorry. I've recommended this to all my friends and relatives.- lynn a.

YSG SolarThe team to install led by James and Eric were awesome. They accommodated the ideas I had about the system install and even accomadated some semi last minute equipment changes my husband wanted to make regarding different looking panels. The work looks great and they cleaned up very well. Really nice guys, they even took the time to go over the system with my son so he can keep an eye on it when we're out of town for half the year. We had our system installed in June 2020 and have already banked a good amount of power with Coned above what we used, which used to be around $250/month. Couldn't be more satisfied.- kristen f.

They use panels from SunPower which are some of the best in the business (efficiency and warranty). YSG SolarTeam YSG for the win! This is my first solar experience and I couldn't be happier. Up to installation I'd say is 3 stars as I ran into a few issues and it can be difficult to contact the service reps. Basically I had many questions and had a hard time understanding some aspects, but not at the fault of YSG. However, once that hurdle was crossed the install crew at YSG did a fantastic job. The crew lead was patient and kind and walked me through the entire process. The team was super friendly and nice and they did what they could to accommodate my requests. The job was supposed to be done in 4-5 hours but they were stopped by 4 different safety inspectors which delayed them an additional 2 hours. I know things can get crazy with the Long Island Building Dept where I live, and I know this again was no fault of YSG and they handled it like champs. Overall, they were extremely friendly, nice, safe, and kind. Even the men who worked on the top were friendly. I've had my system for going on 9 months and our PSEG bill is already in the negative each month. Thanks so much for everything.- kenneth r.

YSG SolarAfter looking at multiple companies, we went with YSG and are very happy we did. They had no high pressure sales tactics, aka let my wife take her sweet time deciding while still honoring the quoted price, and were actually 40-50% cheaper (!) per KW than the other two companies we looked at in detail. The whole application process was very streamlined and well organized, almost all done online, with YSG taking care of all the paperwork, right down to getting the local building permit. The installation itself was done less than 12 weeks after we opened our application, which was incredibly fast compared to what the others were offering, plus the installers were actually YSG employees, not contractors. Finally, I think YSG's panels look better, with a lower profile and a nice skirt around all the panels versus the design examples we received from the other two companies. They really promised alot and failed to keep their word and promise in multiple aspects I really dont recommend anyone go solar because it not worth getting in debt and having a system that does not function as promised and have damage done to your roof. The first person I spoke to pauline promised a solar panel instalation with a tesla battery I started the paper work and a few months went by then they changed Pauline as my rep to James he scheduled my instalation and I did not receive a tesla power bank with my instalation he told me that there must have Been a confusion cause they do not normally include them in their installs. I was promised 120 percent of my homes power production but the systems has never produced that much power for me it doing a little more than 70 percent so my I still pay around 60 dollars of electricity on top of the solar panels. They told me I would get exactly 12700 dollars of tax reimbursement so that I can pay off half of the instalation I got about 7000 and now have have to pay the difference on top of the 15 year loan. That 5,700 that I have to immediately pay back so there really is no saving as expected and the 0 money out of pocket cost is a lie. They told me that if my ceiling ever had a leak that I would need to call right away and that they would send some one immediately. Today my roof started leaking and they told me the soonest they would have some one out here would be a week. Both of my reps Pauline and James no longer work at sun Nation I have no one to go to for assistance and their service is **** poor I am really not happy with the desicion I made with this company to go solar.

We had an issue with the backup hot water heater and Solar Living determined it needed to be replaced. They were able to contact the distributor and assure that the cost of a new heater was still covered under our warranty. They found the problem and were very responsive with help -- following up until they were able to obtain the new heater. They were able to work with our existing pipes and, at the same time, installed a new regulator. They removed the old equipment and installed the new and left the work area spotless. We've worked with them before and they are always responsive and very professional. They are on time and do excellent work. I recommend them very highly.

Courteous, prompt and hardworking. Carl and his helper had to dig a trench to get to the wires leading to the old lamp post as well as dig up that post, which was sunk in concrete. He also put in new outlets in our garage when we put in new automatic garage doors. This was awhile ago -- no problems with any of the work that he's done!

This is the 3rd Solar Tube (in 3 different houses) we had Solar-Reflections install. This unit is just a solar tube (others we had installed, were for bathrooms w/vents). Contacted Bob (rep) about new purchase & installation & was set-up over phone for following week. I have a galley kitchen, in the center of the house & it's a bit dark, even thought there is a window in kitchen. When installer (Mike) arrived, he surveyed the area where we wanted it installed. However due to the 2 roof lines meeting, this placement might cause some leakage & he explained the issues. He suggested a different placement of solar-tube. He showed us placement in kitchen ceiling, as well as attic & outside roof area. We agreed w/his professional expertise & placement of unit. He placed drop cloths down on floor & counter-tops & began work. Even w/the heat & humidity of the day,,, the attic temp. was brutal, he completed the work in about 1 1/2 hrs. We had the 14" unit w/night light installed. It is AMAZING how much light this brings into our kitchen. The darkest area is now even lite & I don't have to turn on the ceiling light to make a pot of coffee. We would definitely recommend these solar-tubes & especially the SOLAR REFLECTIONS company.

Excellent service from Khanowk. He was by far the most professional and responsive electrician for my job. He has excellent communication skills, and is exceedingly polite and cordial. Many other electricians I called seemed like I was bothering them with my call. Khanowk responded promptly to my call and was able to immediately come out during a snowstorm snowstorm. He did a great job with the installation and charged a very fair price.
