"It went Perfectly. Joe arrived right on time and made sure he was parked in a good spot (I live in a co-op with a lot of rules about such things). After inspecting existing parts he told me that the knob and deadbolt were of very good quality and recommended just changing the lock cylinders. He did just that and happily honoured an Angies list coupon (even though I was unable to print it). "My front door lock became inoperative.  I called American Locksmith and they responded in a timely manor.  My problem was diagnosed and I was given options.  A new, exact replacement lock would have been $500 installed.  They suggested getting replacement parts, as the  majority of the lock was in good condition.  The replacement parts were ordered ans in a couple of days were installed.  The lock now works perfectly.
