Stellar experience with Magnolia. This is the second time we’ve used Magnolia for a big project at our house, and just like the first time, the work was outstanding. Magnolia completed a major kitchen/family room renovation for us 2 years ago. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, communication, and customer service was so good that when it came time to do our siding, roof, and windows, the choice was a no brainer. I highly recommend Magnolia for anyone looking for quality work, competitive pricing, and a contractor that puts the customer first read less

We had a three “room” project completed in November 2020: Framing - Removed back wall of house and part of the roof, rebuilt ceiling, installed beam, and rear wall Kitchen/Dining Room - Full gut job….new electrical, insulation, walls, floors, backsplash, appliances, paint, fixtures, etc. Deck - New from scratch. 17x17 with a pressure treated frame and timbertech composite decking, rails, balusters, steps, etc. ...since they were going to be replacing the roof where the new section was built, they also replaced our entire roof. The cost was reasonable relative to what it would’ve been to replace just the smaller portionn of the rebuilt roof. The subcontractors were all very professional and quality was high across the board. Here are the important points: -Communication - Stellar for the entire duration of the project (negotiating, permits, selections, day-to-day, inspections, etc.). Vic was our point person but had another person help when needed (permits, payments, etc.). When I needed something, it was Vic I worked with. We worked almost exclusively by text but got on phone calls when the situation called for it. -Schedule - Before we started the project, Magnolia claimed the project would take 4 months. I believe this would’ve been projected to be 3 months if we weren’t operating in a pandemic but the materials were a concern based on the initial plans the architect drew up. The entire project ended up taking 9 weeks from demo day 1 to the final inspection. Very impressive. -Pricing - Magnolia is not cheap but you’re paying for a contractor that’s experienced and proven in certain areas (e.g. kitchens, roofs, etc.) and has established relationships with the subcontractors they use. -Subcontractors and quality - Kitchen designer was flexible with what we were looking for but we had another kitchen that we used as a near mirror-image of what we wanted. The one thing that may be a concern here is that if you don’t know what you want, there might be a lot of back-and-forth to arrive at a final design. Roofers, tile/paint crew, etc. were all top notch. Overall a great experience. This was a high anxiety experience going in and Vic was professional and kept things moving very quickly and well ahead of schedule read less

Franklin and his took extra pride and we appreciate them for all their hard work. Also Vic the project manager was always in touch with us if there was any questions or problems. He made this a great experience from start to finish. Thanks to all the Magnolia Tea read less

BCS - Fernando and Francisco’s team were professional, detail oriented, patient, on-time and friendly. Followed the architect’s plans. Explained the work during the process. Consulted us before any additional work was started. All around terrific company! Would use them again

I hired Bob Lindsay to put in French drains and 2 sump pumps after getting water in my basement in July and from Hurricane Henri. He came and evaluated the situation, gave me an estimate on the spot and scheduled my job within a few weeks (unfortunately Hurricane Ida came in between). His crew did an amazing job. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to prep my basement with extreme care of my belongings, covering everything in plastic. They worked tirelessly for 2.5 days and completed all of the work ahead of schedule although they had some unexpected mechanical problems . They cleaned up and left my basement better than they found it. The crew worked like a well oiled machine and Bob was always available for my questions. I would highly recommend WEATHER-TITE with NO reservations read less

Bob came out, looked over the situation, and told me that I needed French drains and a sump pump installed. He reviewed exactly what he planned to do, when he was available and gave me an estimate right then and there. I was impressed with his knowledge; it was obvious from our conversation that he was experienced and knew exactly how to fix our problem including reworking the gutters in addition to the drains and pump. We hired Bob and he and his crew were out early on the appointed day and worked tirelessly for two full days. I was very happy with their work and how spotless the basement and outside area were when they were finished. About two weeks later came hurricane Ida!! Montclair experience extensive flooding but our basement was dry!! Best money I ever spent!! I recommend them highly. Weather-Tite is an excellent company read less

As I did the first time I used Bob Lindsay's company, I waited six months to write my review. After withstanding nearly 13" of water from Henri and Ida, I cannot recommend this company enough. We used Bob at my first house and decided to use him again when our final walkthrough of our house revealed a wet carpet in the finished basement. Bob's guys replaced the shallow existing window wells with much deeper, galvanized ones, backfilled them with stone and piped them into a perimeter channel drain that was then flashed and cemented to the basement floor height. The sump pump pit was installed and a battery backup system was provided and wired in. The outside grading around the window wells was also redone to slope any surface water away from the foundation. Due to our Radon mitigation system, a polyurethane caulk was also used to seal the system. We remained absolutely bone-dry these last few weeks despite rain falling at 2-3" per hour in some cases. The work is efficient, his guys are extremely friendly and skilled, and despite the messiness of the job, they do a fabulous job cleaning up. There is a certain peace of mind that having this type of work done provides, and you cannot put a price tag on it, especially if you plan on finishing (or refinishing) a basement. At the end of the job, Bob was even kind enough to have one of his guys tie in a 2" piece of PVC from the floor with a cap (which I then drilled a hole in) so I can run my dehumidifier constantly without ever having to empty the bucket. We have since refinished our basement to our liking and know for certain that this was the best home investment we could have possibly made. A friend of ours has also done her entire basement with Weather-Tite and had an equally wonderful experience. Thanks Bob for saving us not once, but twice read less

Ed Constanza is a man you will love. He is a very intelligent, down to earth, perfectionist, caring person with wonderful work ethics! We had a horrific, disgusting ,smelly, moldy, dysfunctional crawl space as a basement. Which we had to take the oil burner and oil tank out of because of numerous water problems coming into our space. Ed and his crew came in and cleaned it up, waterproofed it, put anchors in, stones, a layer of concrete, wire mesh, then more concrete. Made it look so smooth. All this was done by the crew along with Ed. The crew, Wilson ,Darwin, Manuel, and Angel did all of this by hand!!! What excellent workers.. very hard work lifting wheelbarrows of cement and stones from the front of the house to the back 50 times for each, cement and stones in hot, humid conditions!!! They cleaned up anything that was laying around. Our place looked better than before they came to work, honestly!! We were scared to start this project at first, will all the other things we have done at our house that other contractors have done, and wound up being a mess and they could care less.. Its was that they got their money now try to get them to fix and redo the mess they made. NOT WITH ED CONSTANZA with Wilson, Darwin, Manuel, and Angel!!! Well worth every dollar we spent!! Nobody does it better in our opinion! They were such a Blessing!!!!! They are like our extended family now!! If you need a basement done or mason work, contact them for the best job and work ethics and price!! We are so happy we found Ed and his crew. We can't say enough about this whole experience ! read less

We used to get water seeping up from the ground into our basement floor. Antonio's crew did my French drain and sump pumps about 8 years ago. We have had no water since then. I am posting this review today because I am thrilled that after Hurricane Ida drowned the entire town last night, with water in my backyard higher than my ankles, our basement is dry. Amazing read less

Bob was both knowledgeable and personable. I had obtained two other estimates prior to speaking with him. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Good company and a great job!!
