Best floor sanding pros near Lancaster, NY

"Edwin was very professional and helpful. He explained things well and was very friendly. He worked very hard and well into the night to finish the job in one day. The salesman on the other hand, though friendly and efficient when he came to our house, left out the fact that the quarter round would not be varnished to match the molding and the floor . This leaves us with more work to do and therefore further expenses. We felt that this should have been included. Also, communication on the part of the salesman was lacking. He didn't leave a business card with us, and didn't call us to give us a heads up as to when the pros would be arriving. I had to call Customer service myself. And then, when I called, I got an answering machine 3 times. But the pros seemed to do a good job!"

Hello, I've noticed how difficult and frustrating it can be to hire someone to do a project, only to have them not follow it through to completion, or to just not show up at all, or to pass the blame of their mistakes to someone else. I started Wirth & Son Property Services because of all the incompetence and poor communication I've seen with service providers. I'll show up, do what I say I'm going to do, and keep communicating with you. Over the last several decades, I've completed a wide variety of home improvement projects, from footing to ridge, and everything in between. Whether you need something as small as a picture hung to something more complex, like a custom, site-built shed, I'll show up, competently complete the project, and communicate along the way. \n\nSome of the things I have experience in include: wasp removal, custom shed & chicken coops, curtain rod hanging, deck/porch repair, gutter cleaning, siding repair, drywall repair, assembly, fench repair, dryer vent cleaning

"When we moved into our house more than a year ago one of my wishes was to have the wall-to-wall carpeting removed because I was eager to show off the white oak flooring. Recently we decided to have it done and Maloney Hardwood was exactly the refinisher to bring the buried treasure to light. There was an unpleasant surprise when we took up the carpeting and found two large water stains, but he fit in new lumber to blend perfectly with the existing flooring. We would highly recommend him. "Extremely pleased with the oak hardwood flooring installed by Holliday Home Flooring LLC . Brandon Holliday and his apprentice Jayden were professional, prompt, courteous, Brandon explained each day what we could expect to be done . The job was well planned out and completed on time . Concerns along the way were fully discussed before progressing . At the end of each day the work site was totally cleaned up and ready for the next morning. Upon completion of the floor install they helped us install felt pads under all furniture and place back in room . Brandon is listed with the BBB, Licensed & Insured. We were very comfortable with the payment setup as well . Percentage down at the start of the job, percentage due half way through the job, and then upon completion balance due . We highly recommend Holliday Home and Flooring ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"John came to my house and quoted me for installation of approximately 250sq feet of LVP flooring in my mudroom. The price was just right and performed the job flawlessly, fast and was extremely clean. He also prepared the floor by leveling some spots that had been uneven, upon his recommendation and explained the entire process throughly. I will undoubtedly be calling him for all my future floor projects with hesitation!"

"Wonderful!!! Drywall, paint, remove leaky window, expoxy floor of garage - very honest, hard working - did a great job!!"

"This team of three worked with professional skills that were outstanding. Their quiet teamwork and ability were very impressive. I love my new floor. They finished and cleaned the work area after they were done. They were pleasant to talk with and answered any questions I may have had. I am definitely planning to use them again sometime in the future."
