"We have had the pleasure of working with Ed and his team at Down to Earth Cleaning since the beginning of last year, and we could not be happier with the exceptional service they provide. They handle all of the industrial cleaning at our factory and consistently do an outstanding job. We have also used their services in our home, and the quality and attention to detail have been just as impressive. Ed and his team are thorough, professional, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with. They take pride in their work, pay attention to the details, and always leave everything looking sparkling! We highly recommend Down to Earth Cleaning to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and hardworking cleaning team. We are extremely grateful to have found them and look forward to continuing to work with Ed and his team!"

"I had just became a new homeowner. I was super excited. I went on Home Advisor and chose this service because of the great reviews. The house was totally empty, meaning no furniture, no clothes, nothing. I informed her it was a two story house and that I wanted it to be totally cleaned with the emphasis on shampooing the entire 2nd floor carpeting. Upon arrival the house smelled amazing. It looked good at first. As they prepared to leave I began to notice all the flaws in the cleaning. Corners of the floors had spider webs still. Counter tops were still dusty and the clean mirrors, were all streaked up. I paid over $200 for the service and to be honest I feel like it wasn't worth it. Next time I'll just clean it myself. If you want something done right, do it yourself. I must say, however, the cleaners were very pleasant. They just need to step up their cleaning game."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

There are several reasons why your furnace filter might get dirty quickly. For example, if you run your furnace often, more air—and therefore, more contaminants—will flow through the system and clog your filter. Having pets is another reason that your filter accumulates dirt quickly. Also, thinner filters will get dirty faster than thicker ones.

The lifespan of a whole-house air purifier or filtration system depends on several factors, but with proper maintenance, they are built to last. A whole-house system that integrates with your home's ductwork can last 10 to 15 years, or even for the entire lifetime of your existing HVAC system. To maximize the unit's lifespan, perform regular cleanings, change filters as recommended, and schedule an annual inspection to catch potential issues early. The system's longevity also depends on its frequency of use and how hard it must work to maintain your desired air quality. For comparison, smaller, portable air filter systems typically last between five and ten years.

While a carbon filter can reduce particles in the air, it’s not intended to reduce moisture, and the filter will be less effective in a humid environment. To lower the humidity in your hydroponic set-up, you should opt for a dehumidifier instead of a filter.

While you can run your HVAC system without an air filter, it isn’t something professionals recommend—especially not for an extended period. It can reduce indoor air quality, clog air ducts, and strain your system. This can lead to performance issues, higher energy bills, costly repairs, and a reduction in the system's lifespan.

Some AC filters, known as reusable filters, can be cleaned and reinserted. Most AC filters, however, are disposable and cannot be cleaned.
