"Everything seemed to be going well, until it didn't. Painting wasn't finished and globs of paint were left on walls and there were a bunch of drippings on the baseboard. The wood flooring, tiles, walls, and some doors were damaged and not fixed. When asked to come back and fix the problem, Jay proceeded to flip a switch and bully/verbally attack the disabled individuals of the home, making comments about themselves and their dogs. He made comments regarding what the animals are being fed and their lack of exercise, even though the one has an autoimmune disease, the other is 16 with one eye, and the third is mentally disabled. He then proceeded to block the client on messages and social media platforms."

The two most common types of drywall are ½-inch and ⅝-inch thick white or gray drywall. Most walls are ⅝-inch thick because the drywall is slightly more resistant to damage and it helps dampen sound considerably. It’s also much heavier, which is why most ceilings are ½-inch thick. The easiest way to cut holes in drywall for electrical boxes is to use a spiral saw with a drywall router bit. Hang the drywall without cutting out a hole for the box, but make sure you measure and mark where the box is located on the wall. Once you screw in the drywall sheet, drill a small hole into the box void, insert the spiral saw bit, and move it around the edge of the box using the inside wall as a guide. You can also use an oscillating multi-tool with an electrical box cutout for fast, professional results.

Whether you apply the drywall mesh before or after drywall mud depends on the type of patch it is. For self-adhesive patches, you’ll put the patch down first and then coat it with mud. Mesh patches that are not self-adhesive will require you to put mud down first and then press the mesh into it, followed by additional coats of mud.

There are no risks or downsides to installing drywall in a garage that is not heated, and the material stands up to moisture and other elements quite well. Drywall will protect your unheated garage's electric wires and cables and add fire protection. However, for effective bonding, you should install drywall at a temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
