"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had Adirondack Basement Systems come to our home to lift our foundation, and we could not have been happier with the experience. Mikey, the foreman, and Justin, the installer, were absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Both were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to make sure the job was done right, kept us informed throughout the process, and made what could have been a stressful home repair feel completely manageable. It is so refreshing to have a crew come into your home who clearly takes pride in their work and also genuinely cares about the customer experience. Mikey and Justin represented Adirondack Basement Systems exceptionally well. We would absolutely recommend both of them, as well as Adirondack Basement Systems, to anyone needing foundation or basement work. Five stars all around. "I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.  

Prior review:
Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly.
Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"Having to go through water problems in a basement is stressful but I am so glad I went with this company. Every person I interacted with was competent and professional. Larry was my first point of contact and he was incredibly knowledgeable and contacted me regularly to check in. I had scheduled multiple quotes but Larry sold me instantly because of his knowledgeable and straightforward communication. Todd, the owner, was so kind and you can tell how thorough he is about the work he does. He took the time to explain things to me and even catch things outside their job scope to make me aware of. He was incredibly fair with the pricing of the job. Nick and Dave were the two I interacted with the most because they did a majority of the labor. They were the best. They were respectful and knowledgeable. They took a lot of time to keep me updated and offer guidance for the long term care of my home. Having them working in my home never felt inconvenient. I could not have been more pleased with them or their work. I would highly recommend this company and the team they have assembled. Thank you for saving my home!"

"We cannot say enough good about Dylan, Seth and Tim. 3 very hard workers. Lifting heavy heavy loads of concrete and stone up my and down my cellar and porch steps. They never stopped for breaks. Great workers. Respectful and pleasant and knew their job requirements. Very careful with doors, floors etc It?s a messy job. ThankYou"

"I called the owner and he responded quickly and was able to provide a fair quote. The crew showed up on time and did great work."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."
