"Stop your search here. Tree Fellers did amazing work for us. Robert and Laurie-Ann came to our home within a day of our request for quote. Unlike others, they provided an itemized quote with photos. We chose them because they were so organized, honest, responsive and kind. For real, super nice people. Then, the work started. Whoa, did they hustle! The crew was super professional and didn’t mind as we watched them climb trees, trim tops, take down gigantic (rotting/dead) trees. We were amazed at the care they took to protect our home and property. They chipped everything right here on site and we have massive piles of chips to use for mulching this spring. We have many trees and will surely need more work done. We won’t need to search for who to use. It will be Tree Fellers"

"I recently hired Willow Tree Arborists for a large tree removal job and was extremely satisfied with every aspect of their service. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing professional and reliable tree care. ?From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, the entire team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a keen attention to detail. The job involved removing some very large branches that hung precariously over my home, and I was particularly impressed with their commitment to safety. They meticulously planned and executed the cuts, clearly prioritizing the protection of my property throughout the entire process. It was evident that putting safety first is a core value of their operation. ?Beyond their outstanding work ethic, I was equally happy with their affordability. They provided a very competitive and reasonable quote, offering excellent value for the high quality of work performed.overall i had a great experience and highly recommend this company!!!"

"They did a very thorough and complete job. During the recent storm trees fell in my yard and on my house. They gave me a quick estimate, it was accepted by my insurance company, and they completed the job a few days later. We recently had massive tree damage due to the storm in the area . They had all the necessary equipment to do the job and were very professional. the yard was cleaned up and you would never have known we had tree damage."

"Couldn?t speak higher about the work done! They showed up exactly when they said they would. They removed 5 trees from my property, one of which was massive and very close to my house. There was a small gap in between my fence line they needed to fell the tree and they nailed it like it was nothing. I appreciated that they cleaned up all the fallen tree sights after and they cut up and stacked all the wood on my property since I?m planning on using it for the winter. 5 trees, 2 of which were tricky to drop, and they had it all done in about 3 hours?? VERY impressive! If I ever need more tree work done, this is the only company I?m calling"

"These guys removed 3 trees in a professional and workmanlike manner. Estimated the job the same day I inquired, charged me fairly, and were available to finish the job within 6 days. Three large trees down in a matter of hours. A+"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

A grafted tree is a tree grown by combining two trees. It takes expertise. Branches from grafted trees don’t grow strong roots. Save yourself the time and frustration by having an arborist help you with this advanced project.

You can often tell if a tree is grafted because it will have a noticeable line. Above the line, the bark will look different than it does below the line. It’s most common with fruit trees.

Unless there’s some sort of rule in your community’s homeowners’ association that requires you to remove a stump, there’s no law that says you have to take it out. If you’re not wedded to the idea of removing it, there are plenty of ways to get creative with this tree remnant. Using the stump as the medium for a wood carving or turning it into a planter are just two examples of ways to repurpose a tree stump.

A serrated knife will work for cutting off small palm tree fronds, about 1 inch in diameter. For larger fronds, you will need pruning shears. You may also use a pruning saw, and if your palm tree is especially tall, an extended pole saw can help you reach the brown fronds around the trunk.

It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting.

On the other hand, mature trees produce fruit faster and provide more shade and privacy immediately. Ideally, a small or medium tree is the better choice if you can wait a few years for it to mature. But if you need immediate maturity, a larger tree is the only option.

Yes, it’s okay to trim low branches on a tree, also known as limbing up or raising the crown. Essentially, you’ll trim the lower third of the tree (trunk) and leave the upper two-thirds of the tree (crown). Arborists recommend trimming 20% of a tree’s leaves per season for two to three seasons. Trimming low branches allows light to flow through the tree, increasing circulation and making the tree stronger and healthier.
