He was extremely responsive and we found his rates were comparable to others we received. We were stalled for a while due to Covid, but once our permit was approved, Dave kicked off work for us the next week. He was very communicative, sharing updates, hiccups (fortunately not too many - usually product delays), and recommendations. I can't say enough good things about his crew. They always arrived on time and worked diligently. They also indulged the many questions my husband and I had! "the work he did was done in the winter, I wanted a concrete walkway and of course bait and switch, he pressured me on getting pavers, I wanted a specific color, but persuaded on a color he already had, most likely from a pass job. I had to chase Luis down for 3 weeks after a deposit of $3,000 was made and no work had been started. After the work was done it started to deteriorate and pavers came loose after 1 year, He sloppily threw down concrete to keep the pavers together, because I refused to pay him an extra $4500 for additional pavers on top of the $7,000 I already paid him. this job was done in the winter and did not advise on the possibility of the concrete separating from the pavers. I will not refer him to anyone, nor will I hire him again. He is probably better suited to doing commercial work, not residential."
