There was almost a $300 estimate before starting the job estimate was never supplied blamed, getting a permit, which other plumber was able to get in less than a day never heard back until I complained still have not received an estimate play they did not wanna do the job and just took the money."

Meet the Business Owner: In 1973 I helped out a friend to operate a Roto-Rooter in the greater Albany area. As the year progressed, I learned how much I enjoyed the challenge of diagnosing and solving customer's problems. I became a service technician for Roto-Rooter in 1974, then opened a Roto-Rooter franchise in Berkshire County, MA in 1979. "Knowing exactly the work needed to be done and paying $100 for a $711 estimate from Reimer Plumbing (Crooks in disguise) I wanted to put my foot in his, anyway. Through Angie's List I found Drain Away, Gave me a reasonable PRICE not estimate, came through promptly, Bredren knocked it out in 15 minutes. Passed their numbers off to 2 co-workers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"My grandmother had a clog in her pipes. She called what seemed to be a reputable company. They were advertising 10% for seniors (Wonder Why?) she had flooding in her basement bc of this. They sent a guy named Ramos to do the job. My grandmother was trying to explain her issue but I guess Ramos thought he knew it all. He claimed to have unclogged the pipes. No later than 30 days later the problem happens again. My grandmother has been trying to get in contact with this company but with no success. I guess lady rooter picked up the phone after 9pm one night and my grandmother explained her issue. Then proceeded to tell her that SHE clogged the drain AGAIN! WHAT? After that call there was no follow up and my grandmother cannot use her bathroom or water AT ALL or it goes straight to her basement and floods. She called another company that put the camera in her pipes and said the guy COULD NOT HAVE unclogged the pipe. He did a temporary fix at best and charged my grandmother over $700. We got pictures and video of the other company doing their estimate. There is no way Ramos did any unclogging. If this is how you do business. FINE. But you will give EVERY CENT of my grandmothers money back to her or you will regret it. I promise you that. I will give you 48 hours to rectify this situation and for someone to give my grandmother a call back. It is 10pm on 1/28/21. My grandmother has the same last name and you know who I’m talking about. You got the WRONG PERSON that YOU THOUGHT you could take advantage of."
