The main sewer line was cabled directly from the basement access by the technician who spent approximately one hour working.
I understood this specific service would be $299 plus tax.
The bill was presented for $384.00 for the labor, plus an additional fee of $18.95, listed as other, apparently for "travel time".
The total paid with tax was $435.19. I subsequently learned that the average total price charged by several area plumbers for this service is indeed $299 plus tax. I was not informed of the higher amount prior to the work and there was never any mention of an extra charge for travel time.
My main issue is the failure of a business to be completely clear, upfront and honest about what they will be charging, particularity when the job is clear cut with no unforeseen problems. If nothing else, adding the $18.95 with absolutely no mention until the bill is presented is deceptive, taking advantage of the customer.
Went great! The problem was completed the next morning because the parts weren't available on the 1st.
In 2010, about a year after I purchased my home, the drain in the basement began backing up when the washing machine was draining. They snaked the line, and this took care of the problem until April of 2014. I believe the price was around $300. This was a bit high but I was happy with the work and the fact that the issue was taken care of. He also gave me pointers about how to keep the line from clogging in the future.
In April of 2014, the issue reoccurred. A different guy came out this time and I explained what had happened previously. Before snaking the line, he plunged the basement drain, and this took care of the issue. I was still charged over $200 for this and it took practically no time at all! I understand I would still need to pay for the service call, but it did not seem right that it cost almost as much to plunge the drain (something I could do myself) as it did to snake the line.
I appreciated them being able to come out quickly and at times that were convenient for me, and they were able to solve the problem both times. Because of the high prices, I have decided not to use this company again.
He came on time. Went straight to work. He fixed the problem in a short time. The cost seemed a little high, but it beats have an the drain back up. I would use him again.
To snake and $135 to put part in toilet tank. Also there was a
service fee of about $18.00.
I think the price was very high, which would be the reason I may not
Use this provider in the future.
I called at 4pm and they had a plumber out to my house within the hour. The woman on the phone taking my appointment was very professional. The plumber, Sayeeg, came and did an estimate on the job and made an appointment to come the next morning.
He was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable on what he was doing. The company called the next morning to confirm and the Sayeeg returned and finished the job quickly and did a very good job. We were so pleased with his work and want him to return to help with other concerns inside our home.
The price was a little high, but it seems appropriate for the job that was done. Honestly, we were so relieved to have someone so professional come so quickly and do such a good job, that we were fine with the estimate.
