"This was a business related call. One of our exec must have sat on his desk drawer because the face popped off. He came and with a tremendous amount of professionalism fixed it. We have heavy wooden solid double doors which would not close properly. I had a locksmith, the security company and the original carpenters come to try to fix them. They all gave us a song and dance about the cold, the wood expanding, blah, blah, blah. He looked at the door and said, give me twenty minutes." In that twenty minutes he did what a multimillion dollar company, a locking expert and the original carpenter could not do. We had a kitchen cabinet drawer that broke a piece off and front was hanging off. With a bit of ingenuity he fixed it so we would not have to purchase a new one. "I had a Northport roofing contractor, who was recommended by a Huntington Building Materials Supplier, install a new roof on my porch because the old roof was leaking in 3 or 4 places. The new roof leaked worse than the one it replaced. The Northport contractor made no effort to do anything about the leaks despite my phone calls. I called John and he determined that the new roof was installed improperly. He needed to redo 3 sections of the roof. The roof is now watertight. John also did some carpentry work for me. He is knowledgeable, takes pride in his work, and is reasonably priced. He is a pleasure to deal with. I am pleased to recommend him."

"The owner Steve is great! I am battling a mice problem and wanted to stop them from entering my home through various holes/gaps on the exterior. Due to the urgent nature of the situation, Steve was able to fit me into his busy schedule and sent handyman Joe within 2 days after I first reached out to his company. Joe was excellent, really a knowledgable guy with tremendous enthusiasm. He jumped on board immediately and got right to work filling in all the holes around the house and even located gaps on the facade and located a possible rodent nest my exterminator and I had not noticed before. The custom frame he built to cover the basement window vent is functional and also looks great! This was a major site identified by my exterminator where mice were entering, and I feel confident that now the area is secure. The entire job was completed in 3 hours with a side trip to Home Depot to gather materials. Even though tackling a mice infestation is not what this company usually does, they were able to accommodate me and exceeded my expectations! I will definitely hire them again and already am compiling a list of tasks around my house."
