"Atlas Fence constructed, on site, a new wooden single gate (to replace the badly decayed gate), ensuring that the style of the gate was fully compatible with the style of the existing fence. "BJ did a great job. He did 3 bathrooms at 2 different houses for us, all turned out great. He also installed a fence around a large backyard at one of those houses which turned out fantastic. In addition, he worked on many projects at the houses because we were getting one ready to sell and the other ready to move into. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with."

Black chain-link fences last an average of 15 to 20 years. The thicker a fence's wire gauge, the longer it will tend to last. Your fence installer should pull the permit for you. Building without a permit could eventually require you to pay again to remove the fence and reinstall it after getting the job approved.

While cedar and pine are two of the most common wooden fence materials, everything from redwood to bamboo is also available. You can also purchase pressure-treated wood, which better withstands water damage and the threat of pests. The best wood for your fence will come down to your budget, local climate, and preferred look.
