"Eco Cleaning cleaned all the carpets in my 3-bedroom home, and they absolutely crushed it. Their technician, Eduard., was punctual, courteous, and explained what he was doing the whole time. My carpets are soft again, and even the old juice stains are gone!"

"All natural carpet cleaning is simply the best. They are professional, kind, helpful, and go above and beyond. They have expertise is getting out any stain you can imagine a toddler can get on expensive furniture and have saved the day many times. My kids love when they come too because the owner is so kind and lets them “help!” I cannot recommend them more! They also sanitize, which is great to get rid of the endless school germs."

"I cant find enough positive words to describe my experience with Hamilton Carpet and Floor Covering, Inc.! From the first meeting with George I had a gut feeling I had found someone who was skilled at what he does, and most important, was someone I could trust no small task! My surprise was that everyone connected with this company is courteous, reliable, honest, professional, fast (but not at the expense of quality), and talented experts at their work. My linoleum floor was done to perfection in less than three hours - everything clean and back in place - and it looks beautiful! I received two follow-up calls from the owners, because thats the kind of business they run: Anything to make the customer happy including the price! I highly recommend this wonderful company filled with really good people both in heart and craft!"

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Taking carpet off stairs is an easy but multi-step process you can usually do yourself. If you have the right tools, time, and oomph to finish the job, removing carpet from stairs can be an easy-to-medium difficulty task, depending on your stairs, the type of carpet installed, and how willing you are to get your hands dirty. It’s important to review the process, gather the right tools before you begin, and follow a tutorial or directions while you work.

If you don’t put padding under your carpet, the carpet won’t be protected from wear on the underside. This could result in a shorter life span for your carpet and increased carpet repair costs over time. An unpadded carpet can also be less comfortable to walk on, depending on your subfloor and the type of carpet.

Carpet tiles are less expensive than traditional carpet. The average cost of carpet installation is $1,800, or $3 to $11 per square foot. In comparison, carpet tiles cost $2.50 to $11 apiece and can often be bought in bulk cartons. Since you can more easily DIY carpet tiles, you may be able to save on installation costs, too.

Several types of flooring can be installed over existing tile, provided the current tiles are in good condition. Options include vinyl, vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, and cork. Among these, various types of vinyl and engineered wood are the most common choices due to their versatility. Alternatively, you can install new tiles on top of your current ones if you like tile floors but want to update the look. Before proceeding with any new flooring, it's crucial to ensure your existing tiles are not damaged; otherwise, they will need to be removed first.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.
