Ultimately, when the pipe was fixed by the Town of Amherst, it was observed that small diameter tree roots completely clogged about 12 inches of the 4" diameter drain piping. I feel that Cellino should have known this was a town issue (based upon the blockage location), their auger should have been able to cut through the small diameter roots, and the price I was quoted to dig up the bubbler pipe was exorbitant. Ultimately, I did most of the digging myself to expose the drain piping in a little over 1 hour. The Town of Amherst finished the repair and replaced all of the dirt in another 90 minutes."
