As soon as I put my request in, she called me right away. She worked with our lawyer and went above and beyond for the job. I don't know about anyone else but if you need raccoon or bat removal or cleanup, I highly recommend you call Stephanie at Wildlife Management and no I wasn't paid for this review. Ehrlich Pest Control was founded in 1928 in Reading, Pennsylvania by Julius C. Ehrlich. Mr. Ehrlich was a salesman who sold insecticides and fogging equipment. At this time, pest control was very much a do-it-yourself venture. When one of his customers, a department store, had no one who could apply the materials, Mr. Ehrlich offered to do it for them – a novel idea at that time. With that gesture in 1928, Mr. Ehrlich established his new service company using the principles that still guide Ehrlich today: initiative, ingenuity and exceeding customer expectations. In these early days, the service team consisted of Mr. Ehrlich, his wife and daughter, who placed rat bait in small pieces of bread. From these humble beginnings, Ehrlich has grown to 45 local offices serving the Mid-Atlantic states – Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and the District of Columbia. In addition to Home Pest Control and Commercial Pest Control, the company offers Termite Control, Bird Control Service, Vegetation Managemenz and Bioremediation in commercial kitchens.

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

If you seal bees in a wall and don’t leave them any way to escape, they may make one of their own. Otherwise, they’ll die inside the wall, and that creates many additional problems. It takes a long time, and the bees will start rotting, which can make your home smell miserable. All the dead bees and any honeycombs they may have created will also attract a number of bugs or other pests to your home. That’s why we suggest removing the bees entirely, and not trying to seal them away.

Bees are relocated to safe habitats, ensuring their continued role in pollination without risk to your home.

Professional removal preserves bee populations and ensures safe, effective hive relocation, protecting you from stings.

Some species of bees (not to mention hornets) are aggressive and dangerous to have in your walls. If they swarm in anger or defense, they could badly hurt people in your home. Other species of bees are largely harmless and many people live in close proximity to them.

Either way, bees making hives in your walls usually causes damage. It can contribute to moisture problems, and attract other pests. Those problems get even worse if honeycombs build up. So we strongly suggest you find a way to keep bees from taking up permanent residence.

In certain cases, yes, the bees may go away on their own, but it’s a risk. Some bee types, such as bumblebees, create seasonal nests and then die out as their new queens seek homes elsewhere. But in most cases, you can’t count on the bees leaving naturally. It’s also not a great idea to leave openings in your walls any longer than you have to, which can attract other pests or cause moisture damage.
