"We hired Arite Home Maintenance and Property Services for a wide range of projects in both our home and business, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From flooring installation to plumbing, washer and dryer setup, wall removals, additions, and countless other odd jobs, Arite handled everything with professionalism, skill, and attention to detail. Every task was completed on time and to a high standard. He communicated clearly, offered helpful suggestions, and made the entire process stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so versatile and dependable—he truly takes pride in his work. Our space looks amazing, and we’ll definitely be calling Arite for future projects. Highly recommended!"

"Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."

Small jobs welcome
"I hired Mike to remove a 150 ft row of overgrown brush that had an old fence running in the middle. The day of the job Mike arrived on time and had all the proper equipment for the job. He was able to complete this job in a day. After the removal he added top soil and graded my lawn so now the water runs to the road and doesn’t pool in my yard. He listen to what I wanted and gave his advice and I am thrilled with the result. I would highly recommend Mike."

"Gaia is a great company in every way. The boss, Dan, is extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, creative, and fair. The crew are very talented, and extraordinarily decent people. I hired them to design and install a garden, and the result is nothing short of a work of art - without comprising anything on function. That, to me, is what makes Gaia really stand out - they can do it all, and will , but where they really excel is in their creative vision and love for their work. I will also add that while Gaia were on the garden project, my general contractor disappeared. I asked Dan for advice on how to get a range of other projects done. Gaia themselves took on some of the work, including designing and installing a sweet new deck and upgrading my windows. Where the tasks were outside of their capabilities, Dan gave me numerous and great referrals so I was able to rebuild a team. Frankly, I couldn't be happier than my general contractor disappeared. Next time, I'll go straight to Gaia!"

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
