"After an extensive process of having different contractors evaluate my home & submit their estimates for the installation of a Bosch tankless boiler/water heater combination unit as well as new baseboard heating, I selected AStar Heating & Cooling. Their staff impressed me from start to finish. Initially, I met Aaron who provided a thorough explanation of how the work would be done, offered other options that I did not know of or considered at the time, and provided a fair estimate that was similar to most of the other contractors. Next, when the time came for the projects to be completed, the technicians, Robert & Trevor, were on point. They always arrived in a timely manner & started working right away. They worked efficiently & quickly to get the projects done in the time frame promised. However, they did not rush, they took pride in their work & made every effort to make sure the work was completed neatly & done properly, as they thoroughly tested out the systems to make sure their were no issues/problems in their setup & performance. They also thoroughly answered my questions about the installation of the new systems as they went about their work. At the end of each workday, they made sure to clean up the job site & were very mindful in not dirtying my new floors by wearing plastic booties whenever they had to walk over them. The Bosch tankless water heater/boiler combination unit has been working without a hitch. I barely notice the difference in the time lag of receiving hot water in comparison to the old 40 gallon tank water heater I previously used. Overall, I highly recommend AStar Heating & Cooling. "Our technician, Dameyan Jackson, called the night before the day of service to let me know the time that he would be here to service our system. On Friday, he called to let me know that he was available to come earlier than scheduled, if I would like. He arrived shortly after the phone call, came in and quickly recognized that the pump had failed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with his service and look forward to him returning to install a new pump."

"Mike and his team did a solid job for us.  The previous owners had punted on installing
the correct solution and lied about water entering the home.  When we found ¼ inch of water in our back
room basement we called GMBS out and they were there within hours to do an
estimate.
This was one of the rainiest summers in recent memory and
GMBS had a ton of business so we had to wait, but it was worth the wait.  They finished the job in under 3 days and the
work looks great.
They installed a brand new sump pump, the old one the previous owners had
installed was done poorly, was inefficient to the task and sounded like a jet
engine.   They installed a sub floor
perimeter drainage system and vapor sealed our walls.
 
They were quick, professional, courteous and were easy to
work with.  We paid up front and part of
the job was over estimated and they got a refund to us when we needed it. 
 
I have more work I need done in the future and I plan on
using Mike and his team.

"I am very satisfied with my new toilet. Darin's worker did a great job of selecting and installing a new toilet for me."

"We took out the old tiles, removed the toilet and baseboards, and bought the tile before they came to do the installation. The work was done on 9-01-16. When I went to wash off the remaining haze a couple of days later, I discovered that the tiles were two different shades. It was obvious when they were on the floor. The person doing the installation should have seen this. We think he did but, since he didn't speak any English, might not have known how to communicate that to us. We called Pacific Stone & Tile and they said that they would come and replace the tiles that needed to be replaced. We could not match either shade of tile and had to buy two more boxes with a different shade number. Twice an appointment was made and canceled. The third one, 9-26-16, was kept and they redid the whole floor with the new tile. Before they started, all of the tiles were laid out on the garage floor to check for any variations. We had to buy the material to install the tiles, but they did not charge for any additional labor. The floor was checked before they left and everything looks fine. Tomorrow I will wash down the tiles to remove any haze and we can start thinking about getting everything back together again."
