"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Gokey did a great job completing my roof/painting job. He was professional throughout and the finished product looked excellent. I will definitely be hiring Gokey again for future projects and recommending him to friends. Overall great job for a good price!"

"They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

A wet room is a bathroom that’s covered in tile or other waterproof materials. They have an open shower with a half wall and little to no separation between the shower and tub and other fixtures. Water drains from a wet room through a central drain. The open design of a wet room can make the room feel larger, making the design a popular choice for small bathrooms.

The toilet should rest 10, 12, or 14 inches from the back wall. As for other clearances, 15 inches is the minimum distance from the flange to any side wall or nearby fixture, including the shower, tub, and sink. Modern codes also require at least 24 inches of clear space in front of the toilet.

Whether you should buy a shower stall or build a shower depends on your needs, budget, and overall shower design preferences. Prefabricated shower stalls are less expensive to buy and install than custom showers, but they come in limited styles, colors, and sizes. If you have a unique or specific design in mind or special requirements like accessibility features, hire a professional shower contractor. Custom showers installed by a pro can also last longer than prefabricated shower stalls.

The general rule of thumb regarding how much to spend on remodeling your home is not to exceed 30% of the value of your property for the remodel budget. For example, if your house is worth $350,000, the 30% rule suggests that you shouldn’t spend more than $105,000 on the remodel.

Bathroom size and budget are two top factors to consider when designing and remodeling a bathroom. These considerations will impact what materials to buy and how much, and it can also determine what parts of the bathroom to prioritize and which to put on the back burner. Other things to consider include accessibility for your household and guests, color schemes, and functionality.
