"Vins did a fantastic job. He was quick to come out for a quote and to set a day to begin. My neighbor was impressed enough to have them do his fence too."

"I would absolutely recommend Sean for any fencing needs. He came when he said he would, did exactly what at was needed and charged the quoted price! He and his crew did an amazing job for a fraction of other estimates. I wish he did other things because it is such a pleasure to work with an honest contractor."

"The work went awesome, the whole process met all of my expectations and went really smooth. Bob was super friendly and easy to work with; listened to and answered ALL of my questions. I did get a few other estimates also, and was disappointed with the choices that all other company's provided. The estimator from New York State Fence asked me what I wanted for fence, I told him what i wanted a price on, he then immediately replied - no you don't want that! Why would you want a driveway gate? Do you know you'll have to get out of your car to open and close it? I am 100% happy with the job that Eastside Fence did, their workmanship is excellent, the fence and all of the gates are high quality , look awesome, and are exactly what I wanted. Thank you Bob and your guys too!"

"Vin and his crew far exceeded our expectations! The property line fence that they constructed for us is the work of craftsmen. They are friendly, knowledgeable and they did the work in a timely manner. The price was great, and the result is a quality made fence made by a company of hard working guys. We would definitely recommend them! AAA+++"

"Excellent job!! The owner ( Nick), design specialist (Neil), and project manager (Dave) were very helpful with design and material selection for the jobs. They took care of everything. All of the workers were on time, respectful of our home, and courteous. Andrew and Jim are meticulous in their work and true craftsmen! I will not hesitate to have them in my home again for any other job we may have."

"Review by Brian Conheady in Gates/Chili Dan and crew removed a tree from my yard. The project was completed quickly and professionally at a very fair price. I would certainly use his services again in the future"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In terms of materials, chicken wire mesh will be the most inexpensive option to use when building your fence. The downside is that it’s not the most attractive garden fence option. In a similar vein, you could choose a DIY fence made out of repurposed items, like car tires, or wooden pallets, either of which would be free to collect.

The most affordable metal fence type is wire at just $3 to $5 per linear foot. Wire fences come in a variety of styles and do a good job of marking perimeters and keeping animals in or out of certain areas. While they’re very easy to install and repair, many homeowners find them unattractive, and many homeowners associations won’t allow them.

A fence gate can sag for several reasons. The issue often stems from the hardware, such as damaged or bent hinges, or loose screws that can no longer support the gate's weight. The gate frame itself might also have come out of square due to failing supports. Alternatively, the problem may not be the gate but the supporting fence post, which could be leaning or out of place. In many cases, fixing a sagging gate is as simple as tightening the hinge screws or upgrading to more robust hinges.

While picking a standard chain-link fence might be your first instinct, that metal can easily rust over time, making your space look not-so-great. Black chain-link fences are a simple and affordable way to fence in an area of your yard and are also less prone to showing rust than traditional galvanized steel chain-link fences. Plus, black chain-link fencing is a more unique option that can look very striking and elegant when installed properly.

Installing a picket fence includes measuring and marking the area where you plan to build the fence, laying out all of the materials, digging post holes, setting the posts using concrete, measuring the rails, attaching the rails, attaching the pickets, and then painting or staining the fence if you chose a wooden fence material
