Monk's Home ImprovementsIt went extremely well. The new door is beautiful and the workers were pleasant to work with. We needed some work done outside around the door, and the foreman gave us a great suggestion which worked perfectly for us. The banister (for our center hall colonial) was very intricate, and the old stain needed to be hand sanded in several areas and was tedious work. The crew did a wonderful job, and the new stain looks great. The family room and trim needed to be refreshed (this is the room the French door was added to) and it looks like a great job. The painters were very professional, and did a great job, including cleanup. We could not be happier with how things turned out.- Mark S.

Nick met with us initially and meticulously reviewed our "wish list "and preferences, explaining all of the steps we could anticipate for the entire installation process. , the quality of the siding materials, type of windows and French doors etc. As soon as materials were delivered to the property, work began and continued in spite of very severe winter weather. Nick was always available to answer questions and provide updates. Louis, the on site supervisor was knowledgeable and kept the project moving along swiftly. This is our second time using American Home Remodeling as several years ago they replaced our roof so we had confidence in the company going in. Magnolia Home Remodeling GroupWe worked with Chris from Magnolia on a second floor remodel and were extremely happy with the process and results. The reno included demolition, framing for new roofline and dormers, roof and gutters, siding, new master bathroom, master closet, laundry space, wood floor and stairs, doors, millwork, tiling, masonry for a chimney extension, windows, and central air system. Chris is a great guy, very easy to work with it, trustworthy, and responsive. He hires skilled subcontractors and kept the reno moving at a good pace. There were no surprises with either the budget or scope of work. Magnolia made our dreams come true with this reno and we would definitely recommend them for your job.- Beth H.

Tri-State Window Factory CorpThe team at Tri-State Window Factory just did yet another fabulous install at our home (new storm door and window) and I had to share. They're meticulous throughout the whole process, from sales to measuring to installation, we have always had a pleasant experience with each team. We have done all our windows now at this point and a few doors too. Love it when friends and family comment on how nice they look and how well they're built. Never had any hidden surprises or costs either. The cost breakdown is clearly written up every time which we appreciate. We are fortunate to have found Tri-State and will continue to use them as needed ... their warranty policy is also hard to beat, just got a few of their window screens re-screened too that were damaged from years of weathering and no hassles and no charge!- Phil H.

Most recently we had a new storm door put on the back of the house and replaced our last "old window." Andreas and team were fantastic (as they have always been!) the measurements were completed at the time they indicated (and the gentleman wore mask and gloves without question) and the day of installation was seamless and clean. American Home Remodeling IncThe end product is nice. My kitchen is very nice and functional and the basement is definitely better with the new door and bilco door. However the estimated timeframe of my project was supposed to be a month and a half however everything was completed within 3 months. There were times where they were not working on my house for weeks. Had to remind them numerous times on things that were not completed. I asked for the detailed listing of expenses that included material cost and labor compared to the budget and never received that.- Jessica S.

We have nothing but praises for the work AJ and his crew performed on our house and we plan on working with them on future projects. They performed a gut renovation of our main family bathroom, a complete basement renovation, and updated our living room built-ins and ceiling. The outcome of each project exceeded our expectations. Working with the AJ was a great experience. He is extremely down to earth and personable. We were impressed with the transparency on each of his estimates, all of which included itemized costs. This transparency was something we weren't accustomed to in other bids that we had received, which typically had a magic number at the end, and left you wondering what the heck costs that much? With AJ, we saw how it came together, and that was very important to us. The work the crew performed was very high end. The new family bathroom came out amazing. Truly high end, custom woodwork throughout, if you showed me a picture of this bathroom a year ago I would not have believed it would be in my house. Our basement, which prior to the renovation was an absolute dump where people expressed fear in visiting, turned into our favorite room in the house. They built a laundry room, full bathroom and a family room. All the rooms received custom built-ins, which we designed together along the way. It isn't fair to call it a basement any longer, it has become the addition on the lower level. Reflecting back over these projects, I think what left the most favorable sentiment was how AJ treated each project like they were taking place in his own house. We knew our projects were smaller in scale then what Hampton Bays typically worked on, but it didn't feel that way to us. To us, these projects were tremendous, and AJ treated them as such. AJ demonstrated to us throughout that he wanted us to be 100% satisfied, and he worked very hard to make that happen. Hampton Bay has our endorsement 100%!!

Over a month late with delivery. If they had said they were behind I would have understood but nope. They measured my molding wrong which my painter noted. I called and it was fixed. A few weeks after installation I realized that I had ordered a dentil shelf that was not installed on the door. Had I not noticed I would have been out almost $300. For the amount I paid over $7k I was disappointed in the service and would not recommend them.

He does all the work himself and pays attention to detail. Frank took his time and did a wonderful job. He gave us some good suggestions too. The bathroom was completed in the timeframe he gave us. I can’t say enough about the quality of his work. The bathroom came out beautiful and was exactly what I wanted. He is very professional, honest and trustworthy. We would certainly hire him again for future projects and definitely recommend him.
