For it being a long and relatively involved/complex job, the process was fairly straightforward. The team did a great job taking care of the various “surprises” encountered during the different phases of the project and the final quality of the job was excellent. Very happy with the results and my home is completely transformed.

It went fantastic. Leon organized the crew of people and had everyone here in the order they were needed. Everyone was early and professional and cleaned up as they went. Leon was flexible and friendly to work with. Job took over a week and it was painless for us! The quality is very high and we r happy happy with the job.

LA Barnaby was great! They were very accommodating in all aspects - communicating via e-mail, phone, and text. When I wasn't able to meet them for paperwork, they dropped it off at my house along for me to sign, and they picked up the signed papers after. They offer financing, the work is beautiful, and the pricing was very reasonable. I already asked for quotes for other roofs that will need replacing soon, and will only get my roof work done by LA Barnaby!

Once the door came in we scheduled the installation. They came on our scheduled date on time, and the install went great! The door is beautiful and the side glass is too! These guys have great skills and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

They are very professional and responsive. Leon Barnaby is wonderful to work with and they always give their customers top notch service. If you don't need the work done or if there's a better way to do it they'll tell you. They have very high integrity and they won't rip you off. I trust them to tell me the facts and keep their customers' best interest in mind. They don't try to sell you something you don't need which I encountered too many times with other companies. Their prices are competitive. They show up on time, do a great job and leave everything tidy. I will definitely use them in the future.

My family has used the L A Barnaby Company for various projects through the years. I recently purchased my first home, and after getting many quotes from many vendors, decided to go with L A Barnaby.
The quality of the roof work itself seems fine, but the things that went with it were not so fine. I have an L-Shaped ranch, so there was a lot of roof to do. However, they only came with a two man crew, so it took longer to finish than I expected. Couple that with two "weather days" where it never rained before 7PM, and a holiday weekend, and it was nearly two full weeks before my roof was completed.
The workers did a horrendous job cleaning up. As they were leaving they saw me picking up several large pieces of roofing material off of my front lawn, and stopped to take them from me and put them in the dumpster. There was a significant amount of debris left on my bilco door, and I have been picking up roofing and nails for the last month. I fortunately found several nails on my driveway before my car tires did.
Moreover, I discovered that the workers had not cleaned the roofing material from my gutters after completing the project. Yesterday was the first significant rainfall we've received since the project was completed, and I noticed one of my gutters was overflowing. Today I went up to check it out, and found that the back gutters were clogged with large amounts of "dust" from the roofing material. I was able to easily clear that in about an hour. I then went on to check the other gutter sections on my house and discovered them filled with shingles, plastic wrap, nails, and other roofing material.
Unfortunately, the gutter that was clogged was located directly above my basement bilco door and has caused some water in my basement. When contacted, the manager at Barnaby was very willing to send someone out to clean the gutters, and I am confident that they will come promptly to do so. I just wish it had been done properly the first time so the water in my basement could have been avoided.
in addition, during the course of the project there was some minor damage caused to my garage. A fairly deep scratch about five inches long. When I showed it to the manager he was very willing to work to repair that damage. He came out twice to attempt to fill it and paint. He was not able, however, to get the paint to match the garage door. Granted, the door probably has not had a fresh coat of paint on it for many years. While I understand that to the Barnaby Company it isn't fair to freshly paint both garage doors so that they match due to a scratch of that size, it also is not fair to me that the first thing guests see when they pull into my driveway is a blatantly discolored patch on my garage. I imagine that if someone damaged their garage door and then repaired it with mismatched paint, they wouldn't be satisfied. Every time I come home I am reminded of the lack of care they took for my property when performing this project.
My final issue with their work was that they didn't realize there were three layers on my roof, so after a day of work I was informed that I would need to pay more in dumpster fees. I completely understand that three layers of roofing costs a ton (pun intended) more to dump than two layers, but this seems like it should be something that is discovered when giving the initial quote. Though, to be fair, no other vendors mentioned this to me either.
While the work itself seems to have been performed well, and the manager has been mostly responsive to my issues, given the lack of cleanliness and lack of care and respect to my property, I will not be using L A Barnaby for future projects.

We are completely pleased with the work that LA Barnaby and Sons did on our home.  From the start of the process with the quote, the responsiveness and professionalism came through.  We had three companies come out to bid and this one was right in the middle of the pack, but offered more in the way of details and extras to the job.  We had a one man crew at the house for a few weeks, and he was wonderful.  Always cleaned up at the end of each day, kept everything clean and neat during the job, never any issues whatsoever.  Because of the weather at that time of year and the one man crew, the job did take longer than originally quoted. But other than the delays, we were 100 % happy with the job and would use LA Barnaby and Sons again for work any time.

A few weeks ago we had a new roof installed as well as replaced two skylights by LA Barnaby & Son's.  I am very pleased with the quality of their work and would highly recommend them to my family and friends.  Leon the owner is very knowledgable and has been in the roofing business for a long time.  He provided us a detailed estimate and was always available for follow up questions.  He is fully insured which was very important to me.   What I like most about Leon is that he really cares about the quality of the work done.  He had come over to review the job several times to make sure everything was in order.  His workers all of which have alot of experience, completed the job in a few days and the clean up was absolutely spotless.  The roof and the skylights look great!  Leon is like having a brother in law in the roofing business

I called L.A. Barnaby after receiving 3 other quotes and they were in the ball park of the others. I received many options and types  of materials to use but it came down to trusting who to believe. I know other people who had used this company and they trusted them so I decided to use them. 
 The job is now finished and they were great to work with. This was no small insulation job. I have a very large attic and they spent a day and a half just prepping it before the insulation was added. On the third day, their crew came and filled my attic with fiberglass insulation to an R-Value of 49. My home is now much warmer as I am not heating the outdoors!
I am very happy with their service and workmanship. Their guys were professional, neat and friendly too which makes the whole ordeal much easier. I would certainly recommend L..A. Barnaby & Sons to anyone who's looking to do insulation. I will call them back when I am ready to have new windows installed and siding put on since they do that too.

Owner was very responsive thru email and text. The siding job includes crown molding above the windows which other companies didn't suggest. They also provided larger gutter downspouts and gutter leaf guards. The window guy was very good as well as the siding crew. They didn't mind putting up our new lights. They removed all our old shingles instead of wrapping over them which we preferred. They worked long hours and showed pride in their work. We are confident if we have any future issues that company will respond.

Very professional service. Contractors arrived on time, were very tidy, were courteous and did a great job. Even the minor punch list items at the end of the job were handled quickly and without any hassle. I would not hesitate to use LA Barnaby again.

We are happy with the overall job.  Leon came to our home a few times to talk about different options of siding, and even gave us an address of a house to go look at the color, because the color from the sample books and an entire house look a lot different. 
His workers were very good, on time every morning and even worked on Saturday and partial on Sunday because they wanted to finish the job.  They cleaned up the yard after every day. They also installed new gutters which seem fine.  The price was lower than another price I got from someone else, and also a few neighbors in the area used this company, and that is how I got their name.  
Only one thing happened after the siding was installed, I saw a small piece of siding one day in my driveway.  It seems that a corner piece was not attached well, I made one phone call explained to the office what happened and they came right over to fix it.
