I prefer the small business owners to the big box shops. In addition, I wanted to match the color to my house, which wasn't available at the big stores. I was very pleased with Crawford Door because in addition to their responsiveness, they were $100 cheaper per door.
The hours are harder, but I had a day off so went to visit the office/showroom. Because they were in the area, they were able to stop by that afternoon to measure the doors and check out the project. It took 2 weeks for the doors to come in. I only needed to be home for the beginning of the installation to check the doors and pay the balance. When I got home from work that evening, everything was done, clean, and the weatherstriping was installed very well (there were big gaps in my previous doors).
I would definitely recommend this company!

Specialist explained work he was going to complete in detail. He did it quickly and professionally. He even rescrewed the wall remote control pad to the wall which had become loose without being asked to do so. I would hesitate recommending Crawford to any family members or friends.

They were fantastic- The owner, Charlie, came out and gave an estimate and stayed with the estimate to the penney. My husband was home for the installation and the installer consulted with him several times in the course of the job to make sure he understood what was being done and to answer any questions. He cleaned up the whole garage as though he had not even been there, and hauled the old doors and tracks away. The installer even sprayed all the metal parts with WD-40! He explained every single button and control to my husband and did not rush the job. I came home to no evidence of anyone having been there except for 2 beautiful new, perfectly installed doors.

This company installed the electric beam system but, because I have a rather old door that does not run smoothly, the electric beam sensor tends to get knocked off the track and broken. The repair people are invariably prompt, courteous, and efficient and the office personnel always handle my calls politely. I am always completely satisfied with the service I receive.
