"Joe took the time to install an underlayment with the proper adhesives and screws. The tile installation took about 6 days. The job was not rushed resulting in an immaculate finish."

"I called 360 Exact to have a tile entry way installed in my house to replace old and damaged hardwood. They also reinforced my half wall in the entry way and everything looks great!"

"Bath Fitters (Dylan and Andy) did an amazing job transforming our bathroom. We went from the standard tub and old plastic tile to an amazing walk in shower with beautiful patterned walls, raindrop glass doors and wainscoting on the other walls. They even hung our towel racks for us and a new shower head. It looks AMAZING. Their workmanship really shows. We will be enjoying our new bathroom for years to come. Thank you Dylan and Andy and Bath Fitters."

"Prices were competetive compared with other installers. They have a nice show room on Monroe Avenue, and the company does hardwood flooring in addition to carpet. I brought home some large carpet samples to check which would look best. Both new carpet and carpet remnants (reduced price) were available at the showroom. They calculated the exact price, so no surprises. Price included pulling out the old carpet/padding and bringing to the curb. The installer even noticed that our stairs carpet was loose in some places and repaired it free of charge."
The Stairs included in the project. Add a flow and comfort. Our installers are AMAZING!

"I've hired Alex for many jobs at this point. Alex redid my whole downstairs of my home almost at this point. He refloored My downstairs hardwood and tile, dry walled and painted my rooms, installed cabinets and helped with kitchen design. Tiled My bathroom, installed My vanity and tub. I have absolutely no complaints on any of the work he's done in my home everything has come out beautiful. I would highly recommend."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to cut tile without a wet saw; instead, you can use an angle grinder, a glass cutter, a snap cutter, tile nippers, or a rotary tool with a tile-cutting blade. A manual tile cutter or snap cutter works well for the larger tiles that wet saws are typically used for, while smaller projects might just require nippers or a glass cutting wheel. If you’re working with large quantities of tile, however, power tools are best.

Solvents dissolve tile adhesive, but the right solvent for the job depends on what type of adhesive you are trying to remove. For instance, dispersion adhesive requires stronger removers, like bile soap or even paint stripper, but some adhesives, like cement-based products, can come off with water and soap or mortar remover.

When considering the types of grout for your project, unsanded grout is the best choice for penny tile. Unsanded grout can fit better into narrow spaces, like those between the small penny tiles, and it’s easier to smooth out for a seamless finish. However, if you’re unsure, check with a tile installation pro to determine which grout is best for your specific project.

Add a T-shaped spacer to each corner of a tile when placing it. You’ll want to nudge the tiles closer together so the spacers are touching each corner. When you’re done installing your tile, you can remove each spacer, wash them, and use them for your next project.

Yes, but you should only put tile directly on drywall in smaller areas that don’t experience excess moisture. For example, a small kitchen tile backsplash could work, but installing tile directly on the drywall in a bathroom or other chronically damp area is not a good idea. Either way, a cement backer board is a far more reliable solution, as drywall is susceptible to moisture and can warp or cause your tiles to crack.
