"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

The carpenter on this project was unfailingly pleasant and patient with my numerous questions. He was careful and thorough. This project also included replacing 6 interior doors in an older home. I had no idea how much work was involved in retrofitting new doors into old framework. Dennis made dozens of trips, carrying doors up and down stairs, outside to work on them, and back inside fitting and finessing those doors. He also installed a stainless backsplash, and removed and cut back the kitchen windowsill to accommodate a new, larger faucet that he installed. My kitchen looks great, and the bathroom is awesome....fresh, safe, and stylish. Accomplished with professionalism and humor. Work space was kept as clean as possible, and all debris removed on the final day of the project. I enjoyed working with Don and Dennis, and Mike, who made several trips to deliver whatever was needed for this project."
