They were ALL very professional, from our initial visit to the store. Helpful with answering questions, and asking questions regarding options and differences. They arrived on schedule, they were very efficient during their work hours. Leaving each day with everything picked up. Great communication throughout the project. Very meticulous work. We will be doing more business in the future for other rooms. Definitely recommend Snyders

It was quite a lot because they had to put in a sub floor and cut off doors. I have a 130-year old house and an older type kitchen and my kitchen has five doors. So, with the sub flooring they had to cut off some of the doors and I have glass panels on three of them. They didn't have to cut them all, but it was a major project. They also did the flooring at our church. They're not the cheapest.

I would NOT recommend doing business with Snyder's Flooring. I had the WORST experience EVER doing business there. All is well unless you encounter a problem, ie, carpet installed incorrectly. (photo proof) I was argued with, intimidated, threatened and given an attitude beyond belief. (Another contractor heard my 1st encounter and was incredulous with the manner in which I was spoken.) When kitchen flooring was installed, the sub flooring was cut inside the house, apparently normal procedure even when weather permits doing so outside. This put a layer of dust throughout the entire house. Sndyer's was unwilling to compensate for the professional cleaning which had been completed prior to the "dusting" action on their part. The install problem was corrected. However, it was only after I mentioned taking them to small claims court and then I was fingered pointed at and told, "but your are wrong". I was NOT WRONG, and as previously mentioned, I have photo proof. Snyder's never admited their mistake, but did pull up entire carpet and re-install. Unless you are willing to stand up to intimidation, insults and threats, I would avoid doing business with Snyders
Response from SNYDER'S FLOORING
"This customer is mistaken in her summation of the work performed by Snyder’s Flooring. Upon completion of the job, she complained that the carpet had been installed in the wrong way, turned at “360 degrees.” I explained to her that a turn to that degree would just be a complete circle, and would not be an error. She pressed the issue, and would not listen to the accurate explanation that the carpet looked “different” in different areas due to shadows and lighting caused by doors and windows in the house. The contractor on the site agreed with me that the appearance of color variance was due to shading and shadows in the house. I took a piece of the carpet throughout the house to demonstrate how the appearance of its shade could vary depending on the light, but she would not listen to or accept this reasonable explanation. She became very heated and spoke in harsh and irate tones. I had to speak in a firm voice when she pushed my hand as I was trying to assess things. Her father was present the entire time, and never once said anything. If I was “threatening” or “intimidating”, he never spoke up about it. Although this customer’s complaint about the carpet was unfounded (as confirmed by the carpet company representative as well,) Snyder’s Flooring replaced all the carpet within 2 weeks. In addition, this customer’s original contract (at her direction and confirmed by her signature) noted that the house would be prepared for carpet installation with appliances removed and old carpet removed and disposed of. This was not upheld by this customer, and Snyder’s Flooring did this necessary prep work at no extra charge. The dust throughout the house this customer speaks of is NOT a result of the vinyl floor installed by Snyder’s Flooring. The installer used a jig-saw to make two cuts in the subfloor prior to putting it down. The cuts were made inside the house because it was raining during the time of installation, and the floor must be kept dry for proper installation. The jigsaw does NOT create volumes of sawdust, and if it did, the dust would have been the same BROWN tone as the wood that was cut. This is not the case. The dust the customer says was throughout the house was WHITE, and most likely a result of the sheet rock that contractors were installing and sanding at the same time. Snyder’s Flooring installers are very cognizant of maintaining a clean and orderly work site."

Before shopping, we did our own research on engineered wood flooring. We knew basically what we wanted and how engineered flooring is made and installed. We are installing the product ourselves in a new construction house. We wanted a quality product at a great price. We got it at Snyders Flooring. Their owner, Bill, and the sales team (Matt and Jake) were well educated and knowledgeable on the products. They carry a good variety of products and brands. Their pricing matched or beat the big box stores AND the outlet stores. Their personable service was always friendly and accommodating. We would definitely buy our carpet or additional wood flooring from Snyders Flooring
