  • American Home Remodeling Inc
I would absolutely recommend American Home Remodeling for any siding and roofing. John Fiore responded to our inquiry in a very timely manner even during a pandemic and was great to work with. John had his roofing team to conduct a thorough inspection of our roof and always took the time to hear our concerns and expectations and made sure they were all addressed properly with clarity and honesty. John never hesitated to go the extra mile and was always willing to put his best effort. His teams were thorough throughout the whole process of our roofing and siding and they displayed their professionalism from very initial call/meeting to the completion of project The best I have ever experienced and kept both my wife and I at ease. They made our home exactly the way we had envisioned it and couldn’t ask for more read less

We were very happy with Magnolia. We used them for all new siding, stone work in the front of our home and a new matching stone porch. The work exceeded our expectations and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. He personally answered all our questions and helped us throughout the process.

A nice experience overall working with Vic and his team. The team was punctual and professional throughout the project. We had our front steps rebuilt from brick to stone and new railings were installed. A few adjustments were needed but the response was quick and things were addressed adequately. Vic's accessibility and responsiveness was a big plus as well. He and his team gladly offered suggestions and solutions during discussions. We are pleased with our new steps and railings. We would definitely consider and use Magnolia again for future home projects and would recommend them to others read less

I’m so happy with the job American Home Remodeling did! We had our steps/porch, walkway, and garage floor done. The workers were always professional and courteous. Plus they did an amazing job! Unfortunately, an hour after they fully completed the job, my dog made paw imprints on the new garage floor before the concrete had dried. I contacted the owner and he sent his foreman back to fix it that night! I plan on using them for more work in the near future. Thank you AHR read less

***** Ed Costanzo at General Brick Designs is a consummate professional. He brings years of expertise to each job, with an artful eye, and a passion about masonry and brick work. Ed cares about customer satisfaction and works on a timely schedule. This is the second time we've contracted with Ed, and expect to do more at our home. The crew: Wilson, Darwin, Angel and Miguel are hardworking, kind and lovely to be around. One of the best things about General Brick Designs is that they do one job at a time - and Ed is there with his crew everyday. This is a superlative company that I recommend to anyone without hesitation. **** read less

BCS - Fernando and Francisco’s team were professional, detail oriented, patient, on-time and friendly. Followed the architect’s plans. Explained the work during the process. Consulted us before any additional work was started. All around terrific company! Would use them again

As I did the first time I used Bob Lindsay's company, I waited six months to write my review. After withstanding nearly 13" of water from Henri and Ida, I cannot recommend this company enough. We used Bob at my first house and decided to use him again when our final walkthrough of our house revealed a wet carpet in the finished basement. Bob's guys replaced the shallow existing window wells with much deeper, galvanized ones, backfilled them with stone and piped them into a perimeter channel drain that was then flashed and cemented to the basement floor height. The sump pump pit was installed and a battery backup system was provided and wired in. The outside grading around the window wells was also redone to slope any surface water away from the foundation. Due to our Radon mitigation system, a polyurethane caulk was also used to seal the system. We remained absolutely bone-dry these last few weeks despite rain falling at 2-3" per hour in some cases. The work is efficient, his guys are extremely friendly and skilled, and despite the messiness of the job, they do a fabulous job cleaning up. There is a certain peace of mind that having this type of work done provides, and you cannot put a price tag on it, especially if you plan on finishing (or refinishing) a basement. At the end of the job, Bob was even kind enough to have one of his guys tie in a 2" piece of PVC from the floor with a cap (which I then drilled a hole in) so I can run my dehumidifier constantly without ever having to empty the bucket. We have since refinished our basement to our liking and know for certain that this was the best home investment we could have possibly made. A friend of ours has also done her entire basement with Weather-Tite and had an equally wonderful experience. Thanks Bob for saving us not once, but twice read less

Everything went well. Yamin was very responsive. He always texted when they were on their way. The workers worked well and cleaned up after they were done everyday. They power washed the concrete, exterior of the house and deck. The exterior aluminum siding of the house was then painted and deck stained. We also had our railings scraped and repainted. In addition, they fixed some loose pointing on the chimney and a little masonary work on the front of the house. Yamin was very polite and professional, always willing to work with you. His prices also seemed to be fair read less

Ed Constanza is a man you will love. He is a very intelligent, down to earth, perfectionist, caring person with wonderful work ethics! We had a horrific, disgusting ,smelly, moldy, dysfunctional crawl space as a basement. Which we had to take the oil burner and oil tank out of because of numerous water problems coming into our space. Ed and his crew came in and cleaned it up, waterproofed it, put anchors in, stones, a layer of concrete, wire mesh, then more concrete. Made it look so smooth. All this was done by the crew along with Ed. The crew, Wilson ,Darwin, Manuel, and Angel did all of this by hand!!! What excellent workers.. very hard work lifting wheelbarrows of cement and stones from the front of the house to the back 50 times for each, cement and stones in hot, humid conditions!!! They cleaned up anything that was laying around. Our place looked better than before they came to work, honestly!! We were scared to start this project at first, will all the other things we have done at our house that other contractors have done, and wound up being a mess and they could care less.. Its was that they got their money now try to get them to fix and redo the mess they made. NOT WITH ED CONSTANZA with Wilson, Darwin, Manuel, and Angel!!! Well worth every dollar we spent!! Nobody does it better in our opinion! They were such a Blessing!!!!! They are like our extended family now!! If you need a basement done or mason work, contact them for the best job and work ethics and price!! We are so happy we found Ed and his crew. We can't say enough about this whole experience ! read less

I purchased a home whose property was severely neglected. Multiple sinking concrete slabs made up a so-called patio and an in-ground gunite pool was surrounded by a rotted railroad tie retaining wall holding in more concrete and loose stones with hideous bushes all around it. The whole backyard needed a re-do. Enter Eddie...I first discovered him on a forum and researched his company. Obviously all of his stellar reviews forced me to call him. From our first conversation, I immediately felt confident that he knew exactly how to handle my yard. In particular he gave me an education on the proper way to work around a gunite pool, which many contractors are not familiar with as it is a bit of an unusual pool structure in my area. Because he is so popular he was booked solid, but out of his humble heart he really wanted to help me out, even if it meant just consulting with him when I hired a different company. I know it sounds crazy, but he REALLY is that kind-hearted. Genuinely. Because I wanted to start this project right away, I got estimates from other companies in the following two weeks, none of which gave me the confidence Eddie did when we spoke. To my surprise, Eddie called me again to tell me he was coming over to discuss the scope of the project with me and to help me sort through all the different contractors I spoke with to see who might be the best fit for my project. I was impressed he did not forget about me and I wasn't even his client yet! Well, he gave me his estimate and as life would have it, things worked out in such a way that he was able to start my project almost right away. As I mentioned from the outset, this property was very neglected and as such, there were a dozen issues that arose once the work started. I am a new home owner who has never had a pool before. Not only did Eddie take the time to help me work out all the snags and I mean ALL of them, but he never once made me feel bad about it even though it meant A LOT more work for them. He went out of his way to make sure everything was done right even if it meant driving across Long Island to get special parts or extra material. And by the way, he did not charge me any more than our agreed upon price even with all the extra labor and supplies that were needed to complete my project. I can not say enough good things about him and his team of true master masons. Not every paver company employs true masons. His team works together seamlessly like clockwork. They started early in the morning every single day until the job was complete. They only take one job at a time which is so important. We had their full attention. Their experience shows in the way they handle dilemmas, the way they coordinate tasks, and the talent set forth in the work product. Quality craftsmanship is obviously important, but I would also argue that the customer experience is equally as important. And this one was mind-blowingly positive. I can't say enough good things. I almost folded multiple times over the stress of our renovations and because Eddie was there to take on the brunt of the outdoor issues, we got through it all. I am 100% sure that no other contractor would have gone out of his way like Eddie did. Plus he provides a 10 year guarantee on his work, namely because I'm sure we will never have to use it. Everything is solid and beautiful!! We couldn't be happier. I will update my review with pictures in the near future. Stop looking. Hire General Brick Designs even if you have to wait for them. It will be worth it read less
