  This is our second time using HM Construction. First time we used them was to replaced our old deck with new composite decking and railing in which they did an amazing job! For our second project with the company we need old trim replaced on our home. The price was extremely fair and they completed the job thoroughly and well. The crew was always very polite and cleaned up all the garbage and dust from the job. We will most definitely use Helio and his team for future projects

  Rufino does excellent work. I wanted to create a molding/trim between the kitchen and dining room. I showed him pictures of what I wanted and he was able to do it. Have used his services a number of times over the past few years.

  Santo did such a beautiful and professional job. He remodeled our Powder Room by removing the old vanity and flooring. He installed a sink and tiled the floor. He painted, added molding and baseboards, repurposed a light by adding it to the powder room. He demolished our kitchen and then remodeled it so beautifully. He removed soffits that served no purpose, added new cabinets, added beautiful storage cabinets, put in molding, did custom wood work around our refrigerator so that the refrigerator blends in with the woodwork around it. He also added a lovely backsplash and painted. He then painted our first floor which consists of our living room, dining room, and hallway leading to our front door. He re-did the molding that we had initially done. He also put molding in our hallway that was not previously there. He then remodeled our basement. He put in walls, baseboards, doors, flooring, ceiling, column covers , he literally recreated the staircase that leads to the basement, and he painted. He worked with us by helping us pick the best cabinets and accessories needed for the kitchen. He was there with us when we were picking the new powder room sink and tile and fixtures. He went to the flooring stores with us so that we made sure to pick the best products for the basement. He also has many contacts and would go and pick up items needed to finish the job that we couldn't find in the main home stores. I can't say enough about Santo. He is professional and pleasant to work with. We have received so many compliments on his work from family and friends. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!   Leon was a dream to work with and did incredible work that touched every single room in our 1,900 sq foot home. From the beginning, he was a great communicator, highly responsive, very reasonably priced, open to our evolving ideas (and to fixing them when we made bad choices), gave us great expert advice along the way (from choosing a bathtub to tile layout), brought a fantastic team to get the work done (including electrician and plumber that he coordinated), finished ahead of schedule, and was overall extremely accommodating. We feel so fortunate to have found him and will absolutely work with him in the future. Here’s the work that Leon and his team did for us: 1) Responded to my Angie’s List message less than 30 mins after receiving, met us at our house the day we closed, and started the work one week later. 2) Painted every room in the home as well as our kitchen cabinets 3) Converted our one-car garage into living space, complete with insulation, electric baseboard heat, can lights, and replacing a garage door with French doors (which included building the door frame and exterior patching) 4) Laid luxury vinyl plank throughout our downstairs and the converted garage 5) Gut renovated our main suite bathroom 6) Exposed the beams in our living room 7) 101 other random things including replacing all of our faucets, 2 toilets, door handles, replacing exterior shudders, power washed exterior, hung new ceiling fans, replaced a number of light fixtures, the list goes on… We trusted him implicitly and not once needed to follow up to ensure a project was being completed on time. I’m certain that he shielded us from the unexpected hiccups that are bound to come up when renovating a home and absorbed them without stressing us out. The entire experience was more seamless than we could have ever imagined. It’s clear that Leon sets a high bar for himself and his team - and hits the mark. You should not think twice about hiring Leon and his team

  We've used EMS Construction for several large projects over the past 14 years or so. Most recently was a complete kitchen remodeling in June 2022. As always, we were thrilled with the results. They are very trustworthy, reliable, and their work is flawless. Jobs are started and completed on time and they do a thorough clean up at the end of each day. Best of all, they are great people and very easy to work with. Not your typical contractor. Can't recommend highly enough
