Before the job, we decided we wanted a couple additions to the initial proposal and the extra charge they suggested was more than fair. We were especially pleased when the prep work ripped up a wire just inches below the surface that I had forgotten about. Someone came and got me and together we traced out what the wire was for (a lead to a sub surface array of ground rods). The crew switched to preping another area while one of the guys helped me install a replacement wire. They could have just shrugged off finding a single buried wire but they did not."

"Mission Impossible (transforming an overgrown narrow, rutted, rooty dirt path into a gorgeous 3-ft.-wide edged stone walkway with a small patio and entryway) is complete, and we could not be happier. The installation makes a design statement without in any way overwhelming our 1876 farmhouse—the stone is incredible, the work is artful and solid, and the project seems to grow out of the landscape, exactly what we wanted. The artistry and attention to detail in choosing/placing the stones elevates the installation to something truly special. Since our primary residence is 90 minutes away, we greatly appreciated the numerous photos, texts, and calls to update us on progress, as well as Rock 'N Garden's reliability, timeliness, and punctuality. "Alex Jr and his team, including Alex Sr, were terrific. Alex Jr is extremely personable and friendly. He arrived on time for our appointment to discuss a new walkway for our house and came armed with ideas and photos of different paver options to consider and suggestions for what would work best. We chose to keep the S-shaped curve of the prior path, which is trickier to install than a straight walk, but installation went very smoothly and on schedule, and was finished in two days.
