"Four Winds Landscape was amazing! First, the owner, Daniel, responded right away to all my inquiries immediately, and I mean immediately! His pricing is reasonable, his crew is professional and they get the job done in an super efficient way. They are professional, hard working, honest and do what they say they will do. This crew completely did a yard clean up that would have taken us weeks in 1.5 days. Amazing! Don't hesitate to hire Four Winds!"

Customers say: Quick response

"I had a rather small project for a retaining wall, and Perez Landscaping was perfect for the task. Ramiro the owner answered my request on Sunday, came out to scope the project on Monday, and had it done by Wednesday! That’s kind of unheard of these days for landscape projects. Ramiro and his team were so nice, so efficient, and didn’t damage any of my landscaping in the process. Price was very fair and the result was just what I was looking for. Thank you Perez Landscaping, I will definitely call them again if I need a project done (they do fences, too!). And thanks to Anji for their help in finding these guys - gives a level of safety to me knowing they’ve been checked out!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Bruce, Tony and Eddie did a great job with our 1000 sq ft paver patio, steps and fire pit. Bruce was great to work with and keeps the customers vision and ideas at the fore-front during all phases of the project. Bruce provided options when the project came up against a couple of hurdles. All were resolved with great satisfaction. The project looks great and all our friends and neighbors are overwhelmed at the work. Bruce kept the project on time and within budget, even with a couple of changes requested after demo. We expect to see Bruce and his team again in the spring when the next phase of our backyard makeover continues."

"In 2018 I hired this company to add on a paver patio and walkway to existing cement. What a GREAT job they did! The owner, Jose , is professional, courteous and listened to what I wanted and made some good suggestions. The crew that did the work showed up on time each day, worked hard and were also very nice and friendly. Recently, I needed a drip line repair that was under a corner of the pavers. A really small but important job. At a very busy time of year, Jose had one of his guys out here within 5 days and it was fixed and pavers replaced expertly. Next year I intend to add another small paver patio and will once again call on Affordable Pavers to do the job!"

Patios questions, answered by experts

With proper maintenance, the average life span of a screened-in porch is six to eight years for the screens themselves, but the foundation and structure can last for 50 to 100 years. To keep your screened-in porch in good shape, clean your porch screens regularly, patch holes, re-seal the wood as needed, and address any foundational issues right away.

A solarium is a luxury addition to a home and can be an excellent breakfast area or reading space, but that doesn't mean there aren't disadvantages. For one, since the room is made of glass it can look dirty very quickly. Another disadvantage is solariums are notoriously hard to balance temperature and will most likely significantly increase your heating and air conditioning bill. Unlike a greenhouse addition to a house, a solarium won’t help you grow as many plants.

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

Yes, but ensuring the deck has a solid foundation with adequate footings is critical before building, as the weight of a sunroom will put significant pressure on the structure below. Even if your deck is properly constructed, it may not be able to handle the extra weight. While some basic, lightweight, prefabricated sunrooms can sit on a deck with a strong existing foundation without additional supports, in many cases, the foundation and joists will need reinforcement. It is always best to have a structural engineer perform an inspection to evaluate the deck's quality and structural integrity. A professional can help you decide if reinforcement is sufficient or if it's better to tear down the deck and start over.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.
