"My experience with A1 was a classic example of taking advantage of a female senior citizen. A-1 has trained their staff to smooth talk in order to gouge the customers financially. Even though there was only one spring broken, technician Cecil advised I needed 2 springs and 2 cables at a quote of $1900+. EXORBITANT!! I felt trapped knowing I could not get my car out of the garage unless I got the repairs. After starting the work, Cecil approached me with additional costs for bearings. I let him know I felt I was being taken advantage of. He responded that he removed some charges from the original quote so with the added bearings, the bill would "only" be $2000+. I looked all of these parts up online and in choosing the most expensive prices I could find, I only came up with no more than $400 in parts. Cecil worked for 1.5 to 2 hours. So I paid $1600 in labor! What a scam! AND, I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN PROVIDED WITH A RECEIPT OR ITEMIZED INVOICE FOR THE $200 I PAID!"

"Perfect. Cainin did a great job. We started with a broken chain on a 22-year old garage opener knowing we probably couldn't fix it. Cainin pointed out the reasons why we should replace it, as well as a couple structural issues with both doors. He went above and beyond for 2 seniors and the price was very reasonable. He arrived on time for both visits; was polite, explained the remotes; set them up; plugged in he necessary codes; even changed the light bulbs for us on both motors. He structurally repaired weak spots on both doors ad explained why it should be done. For the one problem he found on his installation day he didn't add any additional charge. I can't say enough about the professionalism exhibited and the reasonable pricing. Strongly recommend AllFixx."

"Johnny and his assistant arrived on time with the new door and completed the first part of the installation in about 2 hours, but while unpacking the door for installation identified that one of the panels had a small dent from the manufacturing process - they reordered and once the replacement panel arrived another individual delivered and installed it in about 45 minutes and re-adjusted the opener so all worked smothly. All in all it was a great job done well!"
