Environmental Concepts did a great job for us. The price was fair and they did everything they said they would. Bruce was accommodating to our busy schedule. He gave us some sound advice as to which trees/plants would thrive. He allowed me to make final decisions. His crew created all the features I requested and were very diligent workers. Project was completed on time. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful back yard and trouble-free experience.

Bruce and his crew have a lot of great reviews here and I will be no exception. I have hire Bruce and his crew for three different paver and landscaping projects over the past few years and their work is exceptional and they have added great value to my home. Bruce's quotes are very reasonable as well. Another thing is that Bruce is very prompt and reliable. He starts and finishes the project exactly when he says he will. And he always has everything cleaned up when he is finished. When you find a good doctor or mechanic you keep them forever. When you find a good landscaper why go anywhere else. I highly recommend Environmental Concepts for all of your landscaping needs.

Bruce and his crew were great! The quote was fair, they came when they said they would, and worked very hard. They got my project done in 2 days, and I'm thrilled! I no longer have the ugliest yard on the street! I would highly recommend them, and I eventually will be using them for my back yard.

Not happy with this contractor. There were a number of issues. (1) We had 3 leaks & 4 broken sprinkler heads. (2) Our original bid showed boulders 4-5 ft. in size. Yet when we decided to add additional boulders, Bruce changed to smaller boulders (2-3 ft.) without our knowledge or approval. (3) The man who delivered the boulders into our backyard drove his tractor over our grass instead of placing plywood. Now we have huge tracks that look terrible. He also broke part of our cement pool deck and some of our stone pavers. (4) We asked for sufficient decomposed granite to landscape new/existing areas. Bruce did not supply an adequate amount (also, the areas that were covered are very thin.) Now we need to purchase more dg on our own to complete what should have been done by Bruce. (5) When they reconfigured our mounds, they left piles of dirt/rock/debris on our slope (it should have been integrated into the existing slope.) We will have to use rakes/shovels to even out the area and remove the debris ourselves. (6) The work was scheduled for the beginning of December. Bruce did not start work until February. (7) We asked that all existing plants be re-planted. This was not done. A number of day lilies and other plants were simply plowed into the dirt. We have used a number of landscapers in the past and have to admit this job was, by far, the worst that we have experienced. We would NOT recommend Environmental Concepts!

"In regards to the issues my client has mentioned above. (1) This project was done during the winter and the leaks and sprinkler heads were fixed once the system was charged. (2) The boulders that were delivered and placed in the landscape were of size that was described in my revised bid as per what I thought the equipment could adequately handle. Unfortunately my client did not read the new contract before we started the job. (3) The tracks in the front lawn were regraded and topsoil was brought in to fill in any valleys. The stone pavers were removed prior to importing the boulders and replaced once the job was done. (4) My client was not satisfied with the initial amount of D.G. we provided so we brought in another load to accomodate their needs.Unfortunately this was not mentioned by my client, as well as purchasing and planting additional plants she said we "plowed into the dirt" As for the existing plants, they were removed and replanted so those alligations are completely false. (5) My crew went back out and regraded the mounds to my clients satisfaction and again and unfortuntely this was not mentioned in her review. (6) The work was initially slated to start in December, however bad weather prevented us from starting on time. I kept in contact with my clients on a regular basis and they said "that was fine."I spent an additional day and invested approximately $1000.00 of my own money in a vain attempt to satisfy my clients with the understanding that they would rewrite or take down this review. It is too bad that some people can not keep their word and can not be pleased no matter how hard you try."

Bruce, Tony and Eddie were professional and a joy to have around. Bruce called with an estimate within 24 hours of seeing the project location and it was very close to the final payment due. He kept me apprised of the projected start date since they were on a job at the time. I can't wait to show it off. Friends that have seen it are favorably impressed. Bruce and crew did a great job installing a paver patio, synthetic lawn and irrigation system. The project took a little longer than expected due to the weather but once finished it was excellent. Great customer service!

Bruce and his team were terrific to work with. Bruce provided a very competitive quote and helped with the overall design of the landscaping. Bruce and his team provided us with a back yard that is the envy of the neighborhood. They performed the work as designed and worked well with us when we decided to add to the project. Bruce, Tony and Eddie did a great job with our 1000 sq ft paver patio, steps and fire pit. Bruce was great to work with and keeps the customers vision and ideas at the fore-front during all phases of the project. Bruce provided options when the project came up against a couple of hurdles. All were resolved with great satisfaction. The project looks great and all our friends and neighbors are overwhelmed at the work. Bruce kept the project on time and within budget, even with a couple of changes requested after demo. We expect to see Bruce and his team again in the spring when the next phase of our backyard makeover continues.

I met Bruce working on my neighbors yard and asked him if would like to give me an estimate on my front yard. I presented him with a vision, and he turned it into reality. The plan was approved by the homeowners association and turned out to be everything I could have wanted. My neighbors across the street think that the results are exceptional. The job was done timely and professionally. A truly great experience.

The workers were prompt, worked very hard each day, and completed the work is a very professional manner. They were very careful that the pavers and planter wall blocks were properly installed and took great care in planting and spreading the rock and path pebbles.

We had multiple landscape companies provide us bids on the landscaping we needed completed on our back yard. Bruce with Environmental Landscapes was able to beat the pricing we received from all other companies. Environmental Landscapes completed a paver patio, sitting wall, retaining wall, irrigation and sod for our home. We are more than pleased with the end result, and have to say that our neighbors have complimented Bruce's work over and over again. We often get other homeowners asking to take a peek at our backyard. Tony. the nice man who completed most of the work is very courteous and kind. He worked hard to get the job done in the timeline agreed to. Bruce arrived to the house at least once a day to oversee the job and ensure that things were done to our liking. We made a few minor tweaks to the original plans along the way and Bruce was more than accommodating. We had one slight hiccup towards the end of the job with a curbing issue, but it was ultimately resolved a few weeks later. We absolutely love our backyard! Thank you Bruce!

Trying to find a landscaper in the Reno-Sparks area can be overwhelming! After understanding that my yard was going to be a major expense and a ton of work, we were able to find Bruce with Environmental Landscapes! He has been an absolute pleasure to do business with. His work quality is top notch and he is very competitive with his bids. He worked with us to provide a product that we would love while keeping our budget as a top priority. I have hired him twice and plan on hiring him for the next several phases of our backyard. Oh and I'd like to add, that he has worked within timelines, let us install things that we could handle (cost saving measure), and that his specialty would be any and everything. For us alone he has installed a paver fire pit, paver patio, paver pathways, ~1,800 Square Feet of Sod and irrigation, helped install an inground trampoline, and a waterfall/fountain. I'd vouch for him, his crew, his customer service, and his quality work, any day of the week. Not to mention he fixed my home builders irrigation problem that wasn't even his work!!!

I have contracted with Bruce on 2 occasions. First, to re-do the landscaping in the back yard; they did a great job! The second occasion was to convert the front yard to xeriscape. Bruce's design was/is beautiful, and they completed the job in a timely fashion. It was a big job...big boulders, river rock, decomposed granite, aspen trees and several other plants. Reduced my water usage significantly. I highly recommend Bruce Potter!!!.
