"The plumber installed a Moen shutoff device as required by our insurance company to prevent potential flooding from water line leaks. The work was expertly and professionally done. The office staff was helpful and pleasant to work with and understood what we needed."

"Called the Friday before the 4th of July holiday. Responded w/I 15min with an apt time same day. Arrived on-time. Attempted to fix existing disposal; unfixable. Replaced disposal quickly. Only issue was with cleanliness. Nothing horrible just not cleaned up to my standards."

"The job was scheduled and completed quickly. We needed a faucet replaced, might have done it ourselves but the space to work in was tight and did not want to risk it. The repair rep was thorough, tested everything twice to assure no leaks or compromises to the system. Worked with the faucet to modify position to assure best end use. Cleaned everything before leaving. Would not hesitate to use this company again. It is so nice to feel confident that the job was done correctly. While price seemed a bit high, it assured quality!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

Professional plumbers use many high-grade chemicals to unclog drains. Many use hydrochloric acid, known as muriatic acid, when it comes to extreme blockages.

Even if the shower drain doesn’t seem clogged or dirty, plan to clean it out about once per month—or more frequently if you or your family shed a lot of hair. It’s a good practice to remove any hair from the drain on a daily basis, as hair can accumulate fast and cause clogs in no time. You may also want to have a plumber thoroughly clean the drains in your home once every six months.

Yes, flushing a clogged toilet can make it overflow. While flushing the toilet may push enough pressure through the system to dislodge the clog, this is unlikely. Your best bet is to use a plunger and hope the suction can break up whatever is blocking the pipe. If this doesn’t work, use a plumbing auger or call a pro to help.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.
